Can A Nissan Juke Go Offroad

Can a nissan juke go offroad?

um thinking about the nissan juke cuz its big, beautiful and different
but in egypt we get a 114 horspower 1600cc FWD versioin of it
so i saw some clips about juke goin off road so was thinking if the weak version i'll get is able to go off road or not?(something like soft sand desert or some rocky land) or only the AWD can go?
what do u think about the car in the over all (know that the egyptian roads cant have 190hp turbo on it for many reasons so the 114 is decent for me)

Should I get a Nissan Maxima or Nissan Juke?

They are very different vehicles. The Maxima is essentially a family car with a lot of power, great acceleration, and a lot of room. The Juke is a funky, peppy (but not fast) vehicle with a lot of visual appeal. The back seat of the Juke is very cramped. You can also get the Juke with AWD, but I don't think you can get a stick with that which wouldn't be any fun. You are also looking about about 180 HP in the Juke vice 270 or so. VERY different vehicles. Not to mention a difference in prove of maybe 8K-10K.

I vote Maxima if cost isn't a factor.

Which One: Dodge Charger or Nissan Xterra?

I'm on my second Xterra. I love the car. Love the feel, the size, the looks. I hate hate hate the gas milage. I do have a good job and can afford the gas. All that said I think you need to be concerned with the gas milage. The Charger will get you better milage. They are sharp. Maybe there is something in between. Like a Nissan Rogue or Juke. Or a Rav4.

Can you shift from drive to L in automatic transmission while running?

It is important to understand what shifting to L does to your transmission and what it is good for. This is what it does:It forces your transmission to use a lower gear. If your gearbox is in a higher gear, it will shift down. If your gearbox is in a lower gear, shifting to L will prevent the gearbox from using higher gears. This is what it feels like:The engine revs higher. It accelerates better. When you put your foot off the pedal, the engine brake effect is stronger - the car slows down. This is what you may need it for:When going downhill, you may desparately wish that your car does not become faster and faster, so you require a stronger engine brake. When in a hurry, you may want your car to accelerate quicker. So you want to avoid higher gears. When going slowly (in a parking garage) you may want to keep your gearbox from shifting up. This often is also desired when going uphill. In most situations it is no problem to shift to L while the car is moving. If you want to keep away stress from your transmission, avoid to use it as a brake. If your box has five gears and you think that 3rd gear does the job, first slow down the car with the brakes, then shift down the gearbox.

What does 4x4 or 4x2 mean in a description of a car?

4X4Indicates that the engine delivers power to all four wheels of a vehicle through a transfer case. This should not be confused with AWD, as they are different. 4X2Indicates that the engine delivers power to two out of four wheels. Either the engine drives the front axle (FWD) or the rear axle (RWD). P.S. AWD is a system which transfers power to all wheels of the vehicle. It is turned on all the time, unlike a 4x4 system. An AWD system relies heavily on electronics whereas 4x4 is mainly mechanical. An AWD system uses three differentials to split power between all 4 wheels as and when required. It is found on a variety of cars, from supercars to soccer mom SUVs.Hope this helps.
