If i do ab exercises will i lose belly fat?
It depends on the type of ab excercises you are doing. If you do regular things like simple crunches, you're more prone to build the mucles underneath, and do nothing else. Leg raises and knee-ups will be better for you, because not only will they help you gain core strength, they will increase your heartrate. Increasing your heartrate is what will burn calories, therefore burning fat. If you really need to lose some weight, My suggestion would be do a minor cardio program to start, and increase the difficulty as you go. If its the stomach area you're looking for specifically, maybe try a cardio program, and incorporate some ab workouts. Don't forget to work all of the muscles, instead of just your crunching ones! Good Luck!
Does the ab roller/wheel help lose to lose weight?

What is the best exercise to lose weight in the pelvic region?
Will ab exercises help me lose my round belly. Or do I need to lose weight first?
Hi, Yes, you need to do aerobic exercise and core exercises too. If you use a stability ball you can work not just your abs, but your Internal and external obliques, transverse abdominis and lower back muscles too. That way you won't get injured by just working your abs and you will achieve a better more toned look. Do some form of aerobic activity most days and vary the intensity. Good luck. Do ab exercises make your stomach look bigger if you have some fat?
If you strengthen your abdominal muscles and do not lose weight then it is likely that belly fat could be pushed out by the muscle growth and make your abdomen appear bigger . This can also be true if you are doing heavy exercises for your obliques. These exercises can make you look more trunk like with a wider waste.Doing heavy abdominal exercises can cause temporary swelling to the abdominal area because of the tiny muscle damage that occurs after heavy exercise.Don’t mistake skin looseness for new fat. When I really started to do core exercises, The muscles of my abdomen became very strong, but my deflated stomach fell all around my middle. When I sat down, I looked like a pile of mashed potatoes. As I continued to lose fat (and my skin caught up), this went away and I was rewarded with a slimmer midsection. This process can take longer as we get older and extreme weight loss may leave permanently loose skin without surgery.planks and core exercises are what are currently favored over crunches. Developing your stomach muscles will pull in visceral fat.If you have weakened and stretched stomach muscles, like after the birth of a child, then stomach exercises will simply pull in the muscles tightening them up. But take it easy directly after childbirth and take special care following a c-section, consult your doctor first.

How much weight will you lose in 1 month if you do this?
Well, from this I can say a range of 0-4ish. For a more accurate range, you should also provide your diet. If you do that but still eat a lot, you're not going to lose any weight. If you eat healthier and do that, you could probably lose up to 5 pounds. Thing is, slow weight loss is the only weight loss. 5 pounds in a month is about 1 pound a week. That's a healthy weight loss goal for your workout plan. If you want to aim towards maybe 8 pounds a month, do a jog for 30 minutes, do your sit ups, and also some jump roping. Throw in a little weight lifting if you can. A full workout like this will definitely have more drastic effect than walking and situps. Also, if by situps you meant ab exercises in general then that's ok. DO NOT do only sit ups. That will not actually help you a lot. Do maybe 5 different exercises 2 sets each. Don't listen to these people saying anything over 5 pounds a week. I have tried many weight loss plans all with different results. These are pretty good estimates: (each weight loss estimate is MAXIMUM amount of weight you could lose) -The amount of exercise you're doing: 1 pound a week lost -Running instead of walking, ab exercises: 1.5 pounds a week -Running, jumproping, weightlifting, ab exercises: 2 pounds a week -Running, jump roping, weight lifting, ab exercises, some sports and add a healthy diet to it: 3-4 pounds a week.
If I suck in my stomach will I lose weight?
No. but then again that's like 1/2 of a sit up. so do it over and over...lol. The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won't help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don't eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i'm going pretty well if i don't say myself. 90 LBS isn't anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice.
