Can you be a ranger in the national guard?
Is it possible, to join the national guard, go to RASP/airborne/basic etc and become assigned to a unit, and then go to school having the guard pay for it, and then attempt to go active duty after a 4 year schooling assuming you weren't called to war? Just wondering how the order works because that's what I want to do, sign up--->become trained-------->(not active duty so i don't go anywhere right?)school-------->active duty with degree/not active duty with degree? Does breaking up with someone in a relationship improve your self confidence?
I’ve heard that the person initiating the breakup, if they truly feel its the right thing to do, usually recovers faster than the person being dumped. So having said that, I would assume that they would feel more confident.The person being dumped has a deeper grieving process to go through since they didn’t have the benefit of preparing themselves mentally or emotionally in advance. The one initiating the breakup may have been contemplating for days or a few months so in affect have already begun the distancing process and to some degree have their protection shield up.
Can I press charges on someone who stole my wallet and then gave it back?
I suppose you could, but think of what your motive for doing so would be?Revenge? To teach a lesson? Anything short of these and you’re most likely wasting your time.Now, you can call the police, but chances are they won’t arrest her. With the courts and the jails so desperately backed up and overwhelmed, arresting someone for stealing a wallet, and then returning it with nothing missing will not only take a lot of your time, but also the time of a myriad of officials from the police, a detective, a fingerprint specialist, a video specialist, DA, court reporter, asst. DA, etc… Chances are if the suspect has no record, the DA will go for a plea-bargain. There’s no way they would take something so mundane to trial at the expense of a full blown trial. But, if she has no record, chances are the judge will simply throw the case out for failing to serve society in the interest of justice.I know it doesn’t seem fair, but let it be a lesson as to who you consider your friend and who you trust. I for one learned a long time ago not to leave valuable items out where wondering hands can take what are not theirs.Remember, it is your responsibility to prove a crime. Not hers to prove her innocence. She could very easily and most likely will claim she was never going to keep it. All it takes is one juror of 12 to vote not guilty and it’s all over. She walks for good.If it were me, she would no longer be a friend and I would make sure everyone that knows her, knows what she did. That alone just might be worse than a day in jail which is most likely what she might get if even that.
