Can a Conservative please explain the "Liberal Agenda" to me?
I'm a liberal. I understand my own beliefs. But I would like to know what Conservatives believe is so wrong with the Liberal point of view. Points will be awarded to the person whose comments is the most eloquent, not whether I agree with you or not.
LADWP does not want to give me a payment plan?
I have been behind on my LADWP bill. I have been paying the past week and i will have made $600 payment and this week i plan to make another $600. I owe $2000 which i cannot pay all at once as requested by LADWP staff. I have requested to a 2 week extension but i was denied. the disconnect notice is for 3 days from now July 17, 2013. Can they disconnect my services and can i do anything to convince them to give me an extension? thank you in advance. P.S. i have asked for extension or payment plan but they denied both requests saying that they are not allowed due to new policy.
What are the best ways to prepare for class 10th board exam (CBSE)?
Hey All this is total CRAP for boards nothing is needed AT ALL only NCERT only few practice paper before exams and that's ALL.I remember my classmates studying S.Chand,Pradeep,R.S Aggarwal, R.S. Verma and all but nothing comes from and this is the reality of CBSE Boards. Many of my friends went for coaching for JEE since 9th went to tuition as even talked as the are leading scientists of INDIA :P but none of this works, better is to concentrate on subjects like English and Social Science which many people think is derogatory and useless as they would pursue science after 12th but the important matter is how you could manage variety of subjects even when you may not like all of them. And i strongly recommend these subjects are good to improve the "SOFT SKILLS" which is important in each and every fieldI still remember how sleepy i felt remember those geography answers and writing English answers or even biology but matter is giving importance to all subjects is important.JUST UNDERSTAND CONCEPTS as given in simple way in NCERT.P.S I never attended any coaching or tuition or any reference book in 10th and still got CGPA 10 and AIR 190 in JEE so main thing is to concentrate on what your aim is now

My little sister got a phone...?
So I have been wanting a phone for about 2 years now and my parents "don't think that a girl my age should have a phone." Anyways, so my little sister who is 8 has had an old phone that doesn't work for a while. My mom ordered her a case and a charger for it, so now it will work! She's still not allowed to call, text, or anything like that. She's only allowed to take pix. But, can you see how it would still bother me? I'm planning on asking for a Kajeet phone and I'm hoping my parents will say yes because it's a Kajeet. (if you don't know what a Kajeet is, go to www.kajeet.com. It's a type of phone. My other question is, do you think my parents will let me have a Kajeet phone? Thanks! PS-Please do not say, "Listen to your parents" or "They know what's best for you." I know that stuff already.
