Can Anyone Recommend A Toddler Tub

How to bathe toddlers on Sims 3?

It may sound odd but you can change the sim baby's diaper any time, even when they haven't dirtied it. So if your potty-trained toddler isn't soiling itself anymore but its hygiene is low, change the "clean" diaper any way and the baby becomes squeaky clean.

What age is it safe for a baby/toddler to go in the spa/hot tub?

there are no set guidelines, any of the safety regulatory bodies suggest you speak to your doctor, the reason is babies and toddler have such thin skin and are often not able to regulate their body temperatures very well. I myself would not let my child go into a hot tub that was over 98 degrees ever, it can be dangerous for adults to spend more then 10-15 minute in a hot tub that is 99 degrees or warmer. If the temperature was turned down then I would probably let a 3 yr old go in if they wanted to but never for more then 5 minutes at a time. Honestly I don't even think a 3 yr old would want to be in it though, my son is 6 and he still wont go into my parents hot tub and they keep it below at 95.

What is the best bath tub for a newborn baby /toddler?

For the first few weeks, until the umbilical cord falls off, you will have to sponge bathe the baby. You don't want to get the umbilical cord wet.

After that, you can bathe your child in a bathtub. Some people just use the regular bathtub... holding the child with one hand and washes with the other. My mother did this with my son when he was a newborn. I found it was difficult. Luckily, my neighbor had gotten us a bathtub for my baby shower.

The bathtub was an infant bathtub, which fit great in the "big" bathtub. It also came with a detachable sling. When my son was really little, I used the sling. This allowed me to use both hands to bathe him, while the sling kept him slightly reclined. And was small enough to protect his little body.

When my son got a little older, I removed the sling and he was able to lay back in the infant bathtub. It was bigger than the sling and gave him a little more room.

Once he could sit up, we got our son a Snug Tub. I thought this was great... at first. This tub fit snuggly into the big tub, thus it's name. Our son could sit up in the tub. There was enough room for him to move, slightly. He was a little overwhelmed by the big tub. However, the Snug Tub was only used for about two weeks. By that time, my son wanted to sit in the regular tub. It's a great idea, but was a waste of money since we didn't use it that long. (But I've heard of others using it for months and years!!) They are very cute and are deflatable.

Now my son, who is almost 2 1/2, uses the "big boy" bathtub and/or shower. We switch, although, it took him until the beginning of June to even like showers. He no longer cries at the sound. (Hates to get his face wet).

So try an infant tub with a sling. It will "grow" with your child. A Snug Tub isn't a bad idea; it just didn't work for us. Then you're onto the regular tub. **Also Johnson & Johnson's Head-To-Toe Baby Wash is great. Instead of buying a bath soap and shampoo, use this one for every inch of your baby. Much cheaper than buying more than one product!!

How do you give a toddler a bath in The Sims 3?

Well, you can't bathe them in the tub or sink, but if their hygiene is really low then just change their diaper (even if it isn't dirty). It will improve their hygiene. I had the same problem for a while.

Toddler drank bubble bath water will it hurt him what should I do ?

No, the soap was diluted in water. Also remember that any baby product, by government standards, has to be non-toxic.

Paint chipping in my bathtub, is it safe to give my toddlers a bath?

Paint or porcelain? Most bathtubs are not painted unless it really need it, and it's usually epoxy(re-coated), I couldn't imagine that your tub is unsafe, your boys will be fine, I've specialized in mixing and distributing all kinds of paint and coating and never heard of anyone getting sick with any coating unless it's lead or insulating paint both of which they've not made in many, many years. About the rust, your tub will need a epoxy coating but even this will come off in just a couple of years, rust is just oxidized iron, if paint and rust made us ill, everyone on the planet would have serious problems :) they'll be fine.

Can my apartment complex say children under 14 cannot use a hot tub.?

I have looked up items under The Fair Housing Act and think that my complex cannot restrict children from being in the hot tub.

They are saying it is a state law, and I cannot find any reference to this anywhere.

We are in Utah, and I am trying to either accept this ruling or to fight it because I think it is silly to not allow children 14 years of age and younger to enter the hot tub even with adult supervision.

I know the hot tub can be risky to very young children. Any help appreciated.

At what age does it become inappropriate for parents to bathe or shower with their children? Or having them see you naked in general?

As others have said, this partly depends on culture differences, but...It can also depend on other factors.  I'm a mother of two boys and two girls.  The first boy still took a shower with me when he was three, but it stopped before he was four; I can't remember exactly when.  It was my choice, even though there were not issues.  (Note: I bathed my infants safely until they could sit up, and then they'd take showers with me.  Whereas either my husband and I rinsed them in the shower a few times, we avoided that, since really it's potentially dangerous.)Then my second boy, who is four years younger than the firstborn, showered with me until he was around two.  He was simply too curious and touchy.  He started bathing with his older brother, but that soon came to and end as well, because he wanted to touch the older brother.  So I had to talk to him.  I'd have to bathe him separately to get him clean.  Besides that, the then six year old boy had already reached the age—for him—at which he didn't want to be seen naked nor wanted to see us that way.  The younger boy is now 8.5 and sometimes shows up in front of someone naked and doesn't make a big deal over it.  The two girls still shower with me.  One is six, and the other is about to turn four.  They sometimes take a bath in the garden tub, but they otherwise shower with me.  It's no problem.  I remember my younger sister and I taking a shower with my mother.  No problem.  We stopped sometime a few years before our teens.  As a teen, my best friend and I showered together whenever we'd spend the night together. No big deal. My girls are beyond taking a shower with their dad, but that was cut off around three.  He sometimes showers in the morning, in addition to the regular night shower, and the kids thought it was fun to get in, too.  The boys did when they were little, too.  They'd sit in there for awhile, then I'd get them out and dry them.  I wouldn't see a problem with the boys still showering with their dad, bit neither want to.  The oldest is VERY private, lol, and he's every bit as respectful to others' privacy.
