We are starting a small business with 3 partners with equal share. However, all 3 will not be equally active in the business. How can we compensate the active partner?
Pay him a salary. Imagine he was also a silent partner and you had to install a manager. What would you pay him ? If there are differing degrees of involvement pay different salaries. You may even hire a placement consultant to tell you what the market rate is for the various tasks. then , at the end of the day, split the remaining profit evenly between you.if you are unable to pay the salaries, then mark the theoretical amount in to a loan account, which you will settle when the company turns a profit. I f it were me I would get a lawyer involved. It has happened to me more than once that we all started with good intentions but soon people started getting jealous. The company closed and the guy who did real work lost out.

Small cement business?Do you want to manufacture cement or do you want to make things by casting cement?Since it seems to me that actually making cement requires some pretty big and expensive machinery not to mention the need to acquire mineral rights to obtain the raw material it is probably not going to be accessible as a small business.Regarding a plan for cement casting you have to decide who your customers are… do you want to make building structures or do you want to make lawn ornaments? This type of thing has to be considered before even starting a Business Plan, not to mention the legal requirements in your area. I am pretty sure cement is a hazardous material so a whole new set of things has to be worked out.In short, a Plan that might work well for me will probably not work for you. Do the research and develop a Plan that fits your needs.
