Can a company sponsor an illegal immigrant who is not married?
Illegals cannot work in the US, period. If they have authorization to work then they wouldn't be an illegal. Also hiring an illegal is extremely risky for a company since the not only the ICE will get involved but so will the IRS and Department of Labor.

You need to provide more information. If you are an employer and your question is work related, contact the local Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office with your concerns. The person's job application should contain sufficient information. Otherwise, as a private citizen, you do not have the legal right to determine the person's immigration status.

Does anyone know him, personally? Does anyone know him, or know anyone who knows him, who might have been close to the incidents he writes about? Did he really pass multiple lie detector tests? (I know, I know, they're not perfect. :)) I saw Fire In The Sky and I've seen him on TV and I've leafed through his books on the 'net. I know a lot of people might say he's a liar or he's crazy, but I find his story fascinating and I try to keep an open mind. Thanks!
Why do people not know the difference between a non resident alien and an illegal?
I was on an F1 visa in the US and was a 'non-resident alien.' I had to file taxes every single year even though I earned nothing. It shocks me that I continually read about ignorant people claiming that non-resident-aliens should 'go home'. What on earth? Being on a student visa or work visa does not make you illegal. That ought to be clear from the name. I'm not sure where the confusion comes from. Non-resident means that my permanent base, my home, is my home-country for all legal intents and purposes. With a student visa a person plans to finish their education and return home when it is done. I'm wondering where the confusion comes from. The only name to call the other kind are 'illegals' because they are people that are undocumented, entered the country falsely OR outstayed their visa and now are not supposed to be in the US. Illegals and non-resident-aliens are absolutely two different categories. Why the difficulty?
