Hi Again Kim, I would avoid the dresses in the first link they have to many side and front cuts and drag on the skirts (Ugly). The links to second 2 are beautiful (Single cut very Pretty), But I would suggest that you lose the hat you have beautiful hair show it off (pinned up would be cute). Personally I like the red one it looks more formal, but I will say the second one looks more comfortable. In the end do what feels right, David

Should i rent or buy my prom dress?
I'm trying to decide if i should rent or buy my prom dress... This is the dress i would buy. The benefit of buying is that i've seen it on me and it looks gorgeous! The dress would go perfectly with the clutch i bought and it's exactly the look i want. BUT, the downsides are that the dress is really expensive (almost $400), especially since i'll only wear it once. Plus, Nicole Miller is a popular designer and Nordstrom is a well known store, so it's pretty likely that someone else will have it. http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/nicole-mille... On the other hand, the benefit of renting is that the dress is much cheaper! The most I'd be paying is $200, plus shipping, plus I wouldn't have a dress I'd only wear once sitting in my closet. Also, because I'd be renting, it'd be much less likely that someone else would have the same dress (yippee!). However, the negative aspect of renting would be that I'd only see the dress 3 days before prom (but they send you two sizes in case one doesn't fit, and i'd rent two different dresses in case i like one style more than the other...still keeping the cost under $200). How do I convince my parents to let me get an expensive prom dress?
Whenever I go dress shopping, my parents cringe at the thought of buying anything over $100. Usually, I get something within that price range, but this year I've found a dress I absolutely love for $358.
