Can Anyone Write An Emoji Lyric To This Song Its The 2014 Version

Country Love Song Lyrics?

You should've been there,
Should've burst through the door,
With that 'baby I'm right here' smile,
And it would've felt like,
A million little shining stars had just aligned,
And I would've been so happy.

Christmas lights glisten,
I've got my eye on the door,
Just waiting for you to walk in,
But the time is ticking,
People ask me how I've been
As I comb back through my memory,
How you said you'd be here,
You said you'd be here.

And it was like slow motion,
Standing there in my party dress,
In red lipstick,
With no one to impress,
And they're all laughing,
As I'm looking around the room,
But there's one thing missing,
And that was the moment I knew.

And the hours pass by,
Now I just wanna be alone,
But your close friends always seem to know
When there's something really wrong,
So they follow me down the hall,
And there in the bathroom,
I try not to fall apart,
And the sinking feeling starts,
As I say hopelessly,
"He said he'd be here."

And it was like slow motion,
Standing there in my party dress,
In red lipstick,
With no one to impress,
And they're all laughing,
And asking me about you,
But there was one thing missing,
And that was the moment I knew.

What do you say
When tears are streaming down your face
In front of everyone you know?
And what do you do when the one
Who means the most to you
Is the one who didn't show?

You should've been here.
And I would've been so happy.

And it was like slow motion,
Standing there in my party dress,
In red lipstick,
With no one to impress,
And they're all standing around me singing
"Happy birthday to you",
But there was one thing missing,
And that was the moment I knew.

Ooh, I knew.
Ooh,

You called me later,
And said, "I'm sorry, I didn't make it,"
And I said, "I'm sorry too,"
And that was the moment I knew.

What are some of the greatest song lyrics ever written?

From her last album, Voyageur, these lines are beautifully written, playing with the idea of travel (a lot of this album was written about her breakup with her husband that occurred on tour) and the trope of the physical road that is so central to rock lyric writing. Her slur of “it” in the 3rd line means you can also hear her say “I” which only adds to its power.I want to lie in the cracks of this lonely roadI can fill in the blanks every time you don't phoneHere is the truth, I swear it used to be funGo ahead run, run, run, runKathleen Edwards, Change The SheetsThis next one’s long - and they’re rap lyrics too. I first heard this on a mixtape riding the bus at night from Tsawwassen to the Skytrain, and I re-wound it over and over to hear Kweli’s mastery of the form. Although it’s in many ways just a brag, he’s plays happily with the 8 bars here: the disputed history of the CIA importing crack to American black communities, linking Bush one who ran the CIA in the 80’s, the basic tenets of capitalism (supply and demand), and the last two lines which serve almost as a coda to the theme of the 8 bars. It doesn’t hurt that he’s got a tremendous flow in this song.Through your tunnel vision I'm shinin light like a trainComin out like earthworms when it rains, bringin itLike the C.I.A. be bringin in crack cocaine bailin out of planesWith the George Bush connections, I push ReflectionLike I'm sellin izm, like a dealer buildin the systemSupply and the demand it's all capitalismNiggas don't sell crack cause they like to see blacks smokeNiggas sell crack cause they brokeReflection Eternal, The ManifestoFrom their debut album, Swift Feet For Troubling Times, Ohbijou’s Casey Mecija wrote beautiful lyrics that were sometimes overshadowed by the band’s fantastic arrangement and production. Lots of it speaks to me, living in Parkdale, being part of the same scene of late night indie rock house parties, or of feeling lonely and alienated. Mecija’s skill in the chorus for Raccoons is wonderful. I have a small flutter of heartbreak every time I hear this:And the raccoons spin a ballad outsideAs I sob myself thin in smoke tonightAnd this air leaves scents to curse my sleepWrapped in picture frames and dirty laundryOhbijou, Raccoons

What is the difference between a poem and the lyrics of a song?

There are many poems that would struggle to be set to music, many songs that would not stand up as words alone, however I want to give an example of one of the rare occasions when there is little to no difference between a poem and the lyrics of a song, and that is with singer songwriter Leonard Cohen.I wrote my Goldsmiths thesis on how Leonard Cohen writes poems so lyrical they spring off the page and songs so poetic that they can be studied as poems in their own right. This comes from his background as a published novelist and poet, which is apart from his career as a songwriter, but no doubt informs it.With Cohen, he would often approach a song as a poem, pouring over each word, every syllable, and sometimes writing an excess of 80 stanzas/verses (as with songs “Hallelujah”, “Democracy” and “Thousand Kisses Deep”) before cutting it down to what he believed to be the most potent and concise definitive version. This means he would write the words on a backdrop of silence - paying close attention to internal rhymes, regular rhymes, assonance, form, metre and many other factors that inform the aesthetic quality and reading of a poem. Once he felt the words stood up on their own, he would then set them to music, finding the musical accompaniment to provide the right setting for the words.Sometimes, as with “Thousand Kisses Deep,” he would have two versions, the poem version and the song version, failing to marry the two. But ultimately Cohen came as close to bridging the divide between poetry and lyrics as anyone has ever come.If interested in a more in-depth analysis, you can read my dissertation on Leonard Cohen’s poetry and songwriting, which was awarded a first at Goldsmiths (UCL) http://www.leonardcohenfiles.com...

Why do Turkish people write things like "nice Greek song" under some Turkish songs and videos?

In the year 2012, one of our lower level singers Atilla taş made a somg copy of Gangam style ( which was a trend on that year) The song’s name was Yam yam style roughly translates to cannibal style. People in Turkey was also having controversial fights with Greeks in that year because Greeks were trying to show some of the Turkish copyrighted items as their own culture.(Mostly baklava). It was like copying Turkish culture on some level. So people thought since the guy was also copying gangam style and the song was not so good. They labeled him as Greek person because he is copying others’ work. And the song was disliked among youngsters all over the country. People started this meme-type disliking wordplay. So if i publish a battle royale game with stickman in it. I guess they will call me Greek as well. But this is not so common anymore. You can also see this kind of comment like Greek-ifying the names. For example: Atillas Thasos.

Soredemo sekai wa utsukushii, tender rain song?

Amefurashi no Uta ~Beautiful Rain~ by Rena Maeda

The actual voice actress sings it, full song and lyrics are not out yet.

But from what there is, here's a word for word translation by me: (lyrics you can just learn from ear):
It's a tender rain
May this song reach your side.
No matter how far apart we are,
I believe that it will reach you.
Seeing you in the rain,
The rain drops
will shine beautifully.
And when all your sadness disappears,
the world will begin to move again.
Please come the tender rain.
Come, tender rain

can't w8 to be able to download this!! XP

Who sings that song..."now Iiiiiii...don't wanna fall in love....with you..." Someone recently remade it, too

Chris Isaak originally ....song is called Wicked Game
The world was on fire and no one could save me but you.
It's strange what desire will make foolish people do.
I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you.
And I never dreamed that I knew somebody like you.

No, I don't want to fall in love. (This world is only gonna break your heart)
No, I don't want to fall in love. (This world is only gonna break your heart)
With you. With you. (This world is only gonna break your heart)

What a wicked game to play, to make me feel this way.
What a wicked thing to do, to let me dream of you................
