Can Anything Be Done My Boss Racist He Is The Gm At A Hotel

Is it racist or immoral to love your own people (whites, blacks, Christians, Muslims, communists, etc.) over others, even if you do not hate anyone?

It's perfectly normal, natural, and good, now and throughout history and everywhere.

Why did Branch Rickey put Jackie Robinson on the team?

He did it for two reasons:Rickey did indeed believe that discrimination was wrong. It's believed that this at least partially stemmed from an incident when he managed a college team. One of his players was African-American, and so, was not allowed to stay at the same hotel as the rest of the team. Rickey argued with the hotel manager until his whole team was allowed to stay in the same place. The incident had a lasting effect on Rickey, and while he knew he couldn't end segregation himself, he could end it in baseball. The Negro Leagues constituted some great untapped potential for Major League baseball. The Negro League players were just as talented as the MLB ones — in many cases, more so. Rickey knew that if he stopped leaving talented players on the table just because of their skin color, he'd have a competitive advantage over teams that refused to integrate. As for why Robinson specifically? Rickey thought Robinson could take it. The player who broke the color barrier would be subjected to jeers, abuse, threats, even assaults and everyone knew it. Everyone also knew that if the player didn't remain dignified —-and if he didn't remain a high quality player — in the face of such treatment, that would be it for integration, and it would be another decade before anyone could try again. Rickey thought Robinson was capable of bearing what everyone knew was to come, and he was right.

Are these job postings are real or fraud?

Scam, I'm afraid. This question's already been addressed...

Do Australians hate Indians residing in Australia?

I’m from India and living in Australia since 2015, more than 2 years in Melbourne and recently moved to Sydney. I have traveled to Adelaide and Tasmania as well.In these 2.5 years of my stay in Australia, I haven’t found in general that Australians hate Indians. There are some incidents in news, which may include racism against Indians , but that is not the common practice.I have Australian friends who are really nice people and our races never created any problem between our friendship. I’m working with Australians and there are no issues as well. In terms of laws, Australia is very strict against racism as well. There are always a bunch of people in any country who can act as racist against some other races , but that’s only a small part of the population. Australia is a country which is truly Multinational, you can find people from almost every part of the World. And that makes Australia so beautiful and unique.I remember an incident happened to me once, I was with few of my friends in an Irish Pub drinking, and as it was very crowded , we shared our table with 3 other people- 1 Kiwi guy and 1 Aussie girl (a couple) and one Aussie guy. We all were very drunk, and the conversation between the Aussie guy and me went like this-Aussie Guy : (Very drunk) What do you do ?Me : I work in IT.Aussie Guy : Oh you all Indians come here and take our jobs !!Me: I didn’t come by myself, I came on a sponsored visa coz there is some skill shortage in Australia for our field.Aussie Guy : (Very angry coz I have answered him and was saying something more which I don’t remember any more now)But, then his friend- the couple interfered and supported me instead of their Aussie friend and told him ‘Indian people are nice, and India is a beautiful country. And there is no issues with them coming here’.The Aussie guy later apologies , and told he is just drunk !!This is the only incident which I have found a bit rude, but otherwise people are nice. And the country itself is beautiful , nice, and really good for living.Oh, btw, Aussie people really love the Indian food- specially the Butter Chicken :)
