Can Asda Sack Me For A Cannabiss Crumbler

In addition to fish and chips, is there any other delicious food that is recommended in Britain?

As an American that has spent a few weeks in the UK, here is a short list of things the British do better than us.Indian Food. Now, in the US, some cities have Indian restaurants, but they are not as prevalent, or as cheap. In the UK, Indian places are like Mexican places in the US. Reliable, ubiquitous, inexpensive, and excellent.Flavored Potato Chips. In the US, we have sour cream and onion, and cool ranch. In the UK, they have lamb and mint, prawn cocktail, and Worcestershire sauce. Advantage: UKBreakfast: In the US it’s bacon and eggs, with grits and a biscuit or toast and potatoes. This is great! But a British breakfast is ham, boudin blanc, black pudding, regular sausage (which they call bangers, which is fun), bacon, toast, eggs, and for some reason, tomatoes, all fried. It is amazing. Bonus points if your toast was spread with butter and marmite. I don’t know what marmite is, but it’s all salty and funky, kind of like anchovies. Americans don’t know what black pudding is, either.Picnic lunch from the regular grocery store (not some fancy place, either, the regular-ass grocery store): In the US, you can grab some cheese singles or some crackers, and maybe a Slim Jim. In the UK, the bog-standard supermarket cheese is more varied and interesting, and the pickled-things-in-jars arms-race has been won. Pickled eggs, pickled shallots, Gloucester cheese, and some bread rusks and you have a badass picnic for like $5.Fried Fish: Well, it’s not that it’s better, it’s that its unbelievably inexpensive. Posh Fish in Oxford gives you an entire side of cod. It’s like the length of your forearm, and it comes with a bed of fries and is served in a grocery bag. In the US fish is treated like a high-ticket item, but the English know how it’s done. Also, they put this brown curry sauce on it. And when they say ‘curry sauce’ they put the emphasis on the word ‘sauce,’ which is intriguing.Honorable mention goes to their beer, but the US has stepped up it’s game in the 10 years it’s been since I crossed the pond, so we will call that one a draw.

What happens if dogs eat brownies?

I will presume that the brownies you refer to are chocolate brownies. If made from regular cooking chocolate then it is possible for a dog to get extremely unwell and possibly die of toxic shock.Chocolate contains a bittering compound called Theobromine. It is this that is not ingestable for dogs and it is this that can kill them. Of course it does depend on the size, age and health of the dog but to be safe keep chocolate away from them.In general, milk chocolate and sweet compound chocolate have less Theobromine to worry about. It is the dark pure chocolate that should not go any where near that furry mouth.Milk chocolate brownies? I don't think so. Conclusion, a healthy dog should eat NO dark chocolate at all and that includes brownies. It is not worth the risk. (A friend's dog recently died from a night time chocolate binge.Very sad.)
