Can Children Go To Hajj

Why do Muslims cry when they go to hajj or when they first see the Kaaba?

Cry?? I laughed xD

Can children go to Umrah?

yes, they can, but its a nightmare.. this is not just a simple vacation, its a religious pilgramage you will be doing and your children will be bored out of their mind.. you are not going for fun.. and they might not enjoy
just doing all the religious things, walking in the crowds, etc.. until they are much older to understand and appreciate it.. also loads of young kids get accidently separated from parents there due to the high number of crowds, shoving, pushing, movements etc.. Please dont bring them until they are much older..

Can parents proceed to Hajj or Umrah if their daughter is unwilling to marry but is independent?

As someone who studied Islam under PhD holding Muslim professors, compulsorily as part of college curriculum; I can tell you that anyone who implied that such parents can’t go to Hajj is using a cheapskate tactic to get the daughter coerced in the name of Islam. Whether or not your parents go to Hajj depends upon them, and not their adult child. The criteria are explained in the answer below. Nowadays people say anything in the name of Islam. Even the rule that says that girls can’t travel/stay alone has pre-existing condition : that the girl isn’t safe. So if the girl is safe, according to Islam, she is safe to be on her own, travel on her own, and there is no issue with it. The wording, as explained by my professor, explicitly states : As it isn’t safe for women to travel alone, let her have the company of a maharram man. Therefore according to logic, if it is safe, no need of a travel companion! Your parents can leave you alone and go for Hajj.If Islam’s laws were inflexible and based on the 14th century Jahilliya or animalistic society, then why did the Quran allow imams to make changes or rulings? Islamic laws are applied based on the pre-existing condition and logic. They are not set in stone.

Is it fair that some Rich Muslims go to Hajj every year, while many poor Muslims die dreaming of wanting to go?

Yes it is fairThe problem with the question is it touched the aspects of 'humanity' 'religion', 'rich-poor' unnecessarily.Iam not a Muslim ...so i will try to answer it in outsider point of view(without bias).Points to consider:1. The Hajj is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca(almost evry muslim dream to visit it once in a life time).2. It involves 'restrictions for visitors'(visa etc) and needs financial resources. Now is it fair that some rich kids study in good schools while lot more children never hold a pen in their life time?Is it fair that people spends lots on money on starters, snacks, toppings etc while millions are people are dying with food scarcity? You included the term "UNFAIR" in your questionwhat is fair???You think you have any right to question the rich about their way of spending money??(unless it is not obtained legally)You think they have to giveaway their riches to poor simply because others are poor?Be it a Hajj or holiday in europe - same rule applies  (just remove the terms hajj and muslims from your question and replace it with Europe tour and people ,then you will get the answer yourself).Framing rich guys as bad simply because others are poor /suffering is not fair.P.s : I appreciate if Rich give away a part of wealth willfully (like billgates) for the betterment of society,But insisting them to do it is the real unfair thing.

Can a Muslim refuse to perform Hajj?

My father is Zaydi and my mom is orthodox christian. They are not religious but They gave me a choice for what religion to follow and I follow the Shia beliefs. I started to go to a Shia Mosque near my university but I don't want to ask in person. I cant perform Hajj although it is required for all Muslims until the corrupt regime in the arabian peninsula is removed and the true Muslims control the holy Cities. Am i committing a dangerous act and what can i do about alternatives?

Hajj and umrah excuse letter for school?

A very short note stating the number of days they will be away and that it is for a Religious Holiday such as:

Please excuse my children (insert their name[s] in place of "my children") from (date you will leave) until (date you expect to return) to participate in ceremonies required by their religion.
And add your signature.

You might want to suggest in your note that your children give a report on their trip for some extra credit when they return, Not many children get the opportunity to travel like they are and it is also a good opportunity to give American children of other faiths a small insight into your religion.

Knowledge is the best counter to fear and bigotry.

May God bless you on your journey.

Which should I do first, the Hajj or nikah (marriage)?

Marriage is extremely important. You should try to get married first because according to one Hadith marriage is half religion.Al-Bayhaqi narrated in Shu’ab al-Eemaan from al-Raqaashi: “When a person gets married he has completed half of his religion, so let him fear Allaah with regard to the other half.” Al-Albaani said of these two hadeeths in Saheeh al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb (1916): “(They are) hasan li ghayrihi.”The importance of the institution or marriage receives its greatest emphasis from the following Hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him),"Marriage is my sunnah. Whosoever keeps away from it is not from me."Importance of Marriage in IslamImportance of Marriage in IslamAllah will bless you more as there will be two pious people in one household. You will be blessed more when you perform Haj along with your wife later in life because you both will pray for blessings in marriage.

What happens if a Muslim dies witout performing Hajj?

What happens if a Muslim dies without performing Hajj? In this scenario, each scholar has different concerns. Ulema have two opinions in this scenario:Others can perform on his behalf. While others said that no one can do Hajj on any other’s behalf as it would not be accepted. Most scholars are in favor of second opinion that if one is failed to perform this obligatory ritual, no one can make it up for him after his death. When someone fails to do Hajj out of negligence, no other Hajj will count on him; even others do Hajj on his behalf many times. That’s why there’s an increasing demand of Hajj and Umrah packages from UK.
