So yes the odds are favoring India right now but will depend on how much India can score in the first inning. Also when India bowls how much the pitch assist with the spin and how much England score in their first innings, whether India will be able to take a lead etc. So there are many unknown factors. Overall this tournament has been a revelation. We think of India as invincible team. But this series has exposed the weakness and chunks in the armour which is a result of lack of preparation. Getting ready for overseas tour is tough due to various factors involved. India should have played more practise matches which were not done due to limited time. 2022 is far ahead to think of for now. There is lot of time left for that series. There would be new pool of players included in the tour. So answer to your question is India would win any series of the team had better preparation. Right now we have a series down under.
