Hello, I'll try to share my knowledge to the best i know. See when you delete an email from your inbox or sent item, it goes to the trash. Now, you delete it from trash or not, the emails get deleted from trash automatically after 30 days. So, if you still try to search for earlier emails deleted from inbox or trash, you will never find it. its a sad story, but a true story, which we have to accept. i've faced this situation a few times, but repenting is of no use. so, its better you think twice. Be careful next time.

In theory, it is, technically, possible to recover deleted items via backups if you are a Yahoo engineer, but they won’t do it. Nor should they. Not on an individual basis. The backups are for “disaster recover”. (ie, a server worth of email accounts goes down).And don’t listen to the other spam posts pushing “hacker” services. The trash is emptied by Yahoo automatically at random. Usually 3 days to 1 week, so if they are not in the trash bin, they are gone. Look and see if you might have some in the sent bin that you may have replied to or forwarded. Otherwise they are gone off the Yahoo server

I deleted "sent" messages from my Yahoo! Mail. I got them out of "trash" but can I put them back in "sent"?
I don't know why you want them in the sent file? If its to send them on again you can from the new folder my only suggestion to get them into the sent folder is to forward them to maybe another email address you hold and the messeges will appear in sent again (showing they were sent to your email (you can't use the yahoo id that uses the mail). Yahoo options on moving only lets you move emails to inbox or new folder to all the above people answering move it to sent I think that is why the question was asked and until I went to yahoo mail I didn't realize that it didn't let you put your mail in all the folders (you learn something new everyday)
Can the police recover deleted email accounts?
I'm in hot water with the law and I deleted my primary email account on Comcast. Before I did that, I even deleted all of the emails, even the ones in the trash can. Can they recover my old Comcast account and read everything even though every folder is now empty?
