Can I Bleach My Hair Again

Can I bleach my hair again after 2 weeks?

I bleached my hair two weeks ago. Since, I've been deep conditioning it, but I want it to be slightly lighter. It's now orangey/ashy blonde.
Can I bleach it now or should I wait longer?

What should I do to keep it conditioned?

If I bleach it, what color will it go to?

Also, what will the texture of my hair be when I do go through the process again? It's a little bit more dry than it was before, but I'm conditioning it; so far no split ends or hair falling out.
Thank you :)

Can I bleach my hair again after 3 weeks?

I realized that I used a 20 developer instead of a 30. I did color my hair afterwards but it did not come out the color I wanted. Is it safe to re bleach my hair again after 3 weeks and what would be some good hair moisturizer I can use for my hair now?

Can I bleach my hair again after two days?

I bleached my hair (which was already pretty damaged), but didn't get the desired color. Would it be alright if I did a few conditioning treatments and bleach it again in two days? I know I should wait two weeks, but I'm kind of pressed for time and don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

How long should i wait to bleach my hair again?

Hi Brian,

According to the resource I found online, you shouldn't bleach it again right now. I think it's unlikely to fall out, but it could damage it quite a bit causing it to break.

"Avoid overlapping bleach to previously bleached hair. Repeated bleaching may leave very weak, brittle strands which have virtually no shine or moisture."

Here's that information, plus a great deal more on bleaching hair:

Hope that helps,

How long should I wait before bleaching my hair again?

Since I have no idea the condition of your hair, I can't answer that exactly. Technically, you can bleach your hair more than once in a day. It's not something I would really recommend to someone doing their hair at home. Only because I would feel terrible if they fried their hair and it became mushy or broke off.If you're just going to do this at home, and I can't talk you into seeing your stylist, please be careful. Watch your hair. Don't just throw in the bleach and watch an episode of Bob’s Burgers. After the initial bleach, wash and condition the hair. Towel dry it gently, don't rub the towel all over the hair, wrap the towel around the hair and squeeze. You don't want to stress the hair more. Examine the color and the integrity of your orange-blonde color. Is it light enough that hair color will be able to do the rest? If yes, do that.Side note: maybe don't just buy a box color. Go to your local beauty supply and have them help you pick out a color and developer. Box color tends to have the strongest level developer and you most likely won't need that.If you will need to bleach again, you must pay attention to your hair. You don't want to end up with cotton candy mush for hair. Hopefully one application of bleach will be enough though. The less stress you put on your hair the better it will be.

How long should I wait before bleaching my hair again?

Wait as long as you can... honestly you'll thank yourself. Bleaching is evil, and it sucks. I am actually doing the same thing! (well just underneath) Right now my bleached hair is light brown, orangey and I have been trying to separate the bleaches weekly. Try not to wash your hair because the natural oils will help protect it, don't use heat, and make sure you're doing hot oil & deep conditioning treatments (I strongly recommend extra virgin olive oil & organic honey) Wait at least a week, because your hair needs time to rebuild it's nutrients and whatnot. If you don't wait, your ends will be snapping off, and your brush will be full of hair and it will scare the hell out of you. (I've seen it!) Just try to style your hair the best you can to attract some attention away from your hair (assuming it looks funky). Also, don't brush your hair when it's wet!
Goodluck with waiting, please do for your hair!

Can you bleach dyed hair? If so, how?

Absolutely you can! It just takes a little more caution than bleaching virgin hair.I recently bleached my hair from bright red to very light blonde, and it turned out just fine. It kinda depends on what colour your hair was dyed (for example black and dark browns are harder to get out,) but here’s a general overview:I went to Sally Beauty Supply and purchased Prismlites Blue toned Bleach, 30 volume developer (creme, not liquid [personal preference]) and a shiny new tint brush. (But I’m no professional. Use caution and commonsense…I ain’t liable for your hair.)Since I was doing more of a balayage-highlighting technique, I didn’t get within a couple inches of my roots, so that was one less thing to worry about.I sectioned my hair carefully, and as soon as I began applying the bleach I worked quickly to pull it through evenly (in the places i wanted). I started timing immediately and actually stopped halfway through bleaching to rinse the bottom section, so it wouldn’t overprocess.Once your hair is a pale yellow at the lightest, (mine had a teeny bit of orange in places,) you MUST wash the bleach out or face all the hair catastrophes I’m sure you’ve heard about. If your hair was really dark, you might want to stop while still orange (or once the time suggestion on the bleach is up,) because it’s better to go back later and re-bleach then to fry it trying to go super light in one day. After that, shampoo, tone if you want, or wait and dye it. Good luck!Oh, and don’t freak out when it’s still wet. My hair looked bright yellow-orange when I was fresh out of the shower, but once it dried it looked much blonder and better. First appearances can be deceiving!

I bleached my hair two weeks ago can I bleach it again?

Generally it is not recommended. If you are bleaching the length and ends, why? Have you not attained your desired results when you first bleach. It actually depends on the damage done by the previous bleach. Assessing your hair is a must. Such texture of hair when wet and dry.Pretreatment for bleaching is also a must.If you wish to retouch the roots, two weeks regrowth is too little the bleach mixture will seep too much onto the roots.
