Can I Buy A Belly Button Ring At Hot Topic

Belly butt rings that don't tarnish or rust?

Eww. Stick with noble metals, stainless steel (20, 2205, 302, 316L, hard 440A, A286, Nitronic 60), and quartz. Be careful.

Where can I buy belly button rings for sensitive skin?

I have very sensitive skin and I'm allergic to cheap metal. I also don't want them to rust.
I usually buy Morbid Metals from Hot Topic cause they're the only type that doesn't make me break out.
Any place else?

Also, is bodycandy.com a good place to buy rings from?

Belly rings from hot topic surgical steel?

yes they are surgical steel, but they aren't that good of quality. It's a better idea to get jewelry from a piercer.

How do you clean a curved barbell belly button ring?

A curved barbell is the best thing to put wen u first pierce your belly and that's what most tattoo shops put when they pierce it, when you clean the piercing you can twist the barbell around to clean it and it makes it much easier, also if they had pierced it and put a regular belly ring it would be worse because it gets really sensitive and a regular belly ring has a higher chance of getting pulled.
Clean it with Dial Antibacterial soap (not scented) And also do sea salt soaks. to do the sea salt soak get 1/4 tablespoon of non-iodized sea salt and mix it in warm water and cleans the belly ring with that. You can also buy some H2ocean at hot topic or a tattoo shop and its the same as a sea salt soak, its just already made for you.

DO NOT use neosporin to clean your piercing, in the back of it it says do not use on puncture wounds, and thats exactly what a piercing is.

I hope this helps. :)

Do you have to be certain age to buy body jewelry at Hot Topic?

You don't have to be a certain age to buy body jewelry from any store that sells body jewelry. But I wouldn't suggest buying it from Hot Topic or Spencer's. Going to your local tattoo/piercing place would be much better [cheaper ain't always better].

Does hot topic do navel piercing?

no, hot topic does not pierce anything, at least not in NJ, but you can really just go to just about any tattoo parlor and have it done.make sure you do your homework before hand. Go online and find out if they are clean. some places use dirty needles, which can not only give you infections, but also diseases.
Look at pictures (most shops take pictures of their work) and make sure the person who pierced in the pictures is going to be your piercer.
If possible, talk to some people that have been to the shop your going to. make sure to stress the importance of having it straight (some will pierce sloppy and it will be off at a slant). Before i had mine done, a friend of mine had hers done, and i went with her. I was able to meet the piercer and i saw how he did it and it made me alot more comfortable.
you do not need to bring your own ring, mine actually made me buy one of theirs (my total cost for the piercing and the ring was about $75- not too bad and they did it perfectly)
Also be sure to clean it very well! i wasnt cleaning mine too well, and got an infection (very gross =P ), and two days later i went back to my parlor and the piercer re-pierced it for me, so i recommend using " H2Ocean", it really is the best. After my first infection i cleaned it with that product and had no more problems. (most tattoo parlors sell this)
Ask your piercer everything you have questions about how to clean it.
also depending on where you live, since your 14 you'll probably need to have an adult present to sign for you to get it, i know in NJ they do. (btw, if you do live in NJ, i highly recommend Starlight Tattoos on rt. 17)
(also one more thing; if Hot Topic near where you do live does it, i wouldn't get it done there anyway. they probably arent as experienced as a tattoo parlor or professional piercer would be, you dont want it coming out crooked/slanted =P )
good luck enjoy!

Do you feel that a wife should remove her belly button piercing if her husband is a navel fetishist to poking, kissing and licking levels?

Nope. What the husband wants and the wife wants need to align. It is her body and it is upto her to adorn it. That is unless she herself is willing to put her husband’s fetishes above her own love for her piercing. And it is not wrong to put your hubby above some of your smaller desires. I got my tongue pierced just because my bf wanted me to. I personally didn’t like the idea of an intrusive foreign object lodged in my mouth forever (mind you it is a pretty elaborate ornament that is quite irritating at times). But I chose to do it because I put his needs over mine. And if I didn’t do so, then I don’t think that should’ve caused any problems with him, because he has no right to dictate how I keep my body.Bottomline, whether she does it or not is upto her, the husband can suggest, but cannot get mad if she doesn’t comply.

Do you prefer to go for a belly button piercing with a saree attire, irrespective of having a T-shaped or round-shaped navel?

I personally like navel piercing , I have seen many women wearing it and it looks sexy but personally I don’t want to have one while wearing saree. I wear saree mostly but never had a navel piercing and not planning to do so in future either because it looks too flashy to my taste. I don’t wear saree to show my navel , though it may get exposed unintentionally. I am more comfortable wearing saree without a belly button piercing. My profession wont appreciate that kind of style since I am a teacher.

Hot Topic body jewelry ... ?

So I've recently had my tragus and belly button pierced. I also bought some body jewelry from Hot Topic; a belly ring and some tragus earrings. The lady said they use surgical steel, is this true ? I am allergic to nickel and I really want to be careful of what I put in my new piercings when they heal.

Does hot topic do piercings?

Hot Topic does not do any type of piercings.

Now, there are other places in the mall like Claire's that will do ears, for sure. BUT a word of caution.....even if they DO bellybuttons in those places, DON'T DO IT THERE. Because they use piercing guns, for the most part..... this device punches out a piece of your skin, you're much more likely to end up with an infection in a place like the bellybutton, if you are using a puncher.

DO go to a tattoo/piercings shop. Bellybuttons are one of the most common, and therefore least expensive, piercings to get. They will pierce you with a long, sterilized needle and it won't hurt anywhere near as bad as a puncher. The first time *I* got pierced at an actual tattoo shop, and this has been 10-15 years ago...... it was my tongue and I WAS SHOCKED at how LITTLE it hurt..... it barely hurt at all. I was expecting the kind of pain I'd come to associate with the gun they use in the mall stores. Always use a piercing shop!!

AND THINK ABOUT THIS....the people working in the mall are no different from the people working at Burger King or Wal-Mart. They don't have very much training to be making a PERMANENT hole in someone's skin. :)
