Can I Call The Health Department On My Property Compney For Dead Animals And Feces Under My

Is rat feces and urine in heater ducts and vents dangerous to health?

Yes there is, it is very dangerous, people have died from this. It has been on TV several times. The last time I think it affected the indians in the southwest, just a few years ago. Several people died. Do a search on it you should and you should find it.http://www.247wildlife.com/rats-in-attic...

Elderly parents living in mice infested home & won't let us help them. who should we contact?

This is drastic, but I think they may need to have a court ordered power of attorney in charge of their affairs.
Generally, it's a close family member that applies for the position.
Then, you control the money and the bills.
But, the rodents have to be dealt with immediately!
What's the chance that you can get them out of the house for a day?
Take a cleaning crew in and work your butts off.

Mice in apartment... who should pay?

We moved into a new place just over a month ago. Within two weeks of living there I found evidence of at least one mouse (food damage and feces). My guess is they were there from the start and we were too busy between work and moving in to notice. The complex came out and filled in some gaps between the wall and floor in our hot water heater closet thinking that is where they were coming in from. I cleaned and put everything back in its place. Few days later I found more damage and more poo. I assumed they trapped the mouse in our place when they sealed (dead) and threw it out.

Again I cleaned everything and put everything back in its place. Yet again, a mouse. Again, it has been trapped (dead) and thrown out.

If this problem continues and I want a professional to come out and look at the problem/fix it (spray or whatever) who is responsible to pay?

Should we have to pay or should the complex have to pay.

Our apt is clean, we keep food stored/sealed and take our trash out. We have no pets so the mice are not being drawn to pet food being left out either. We also live on the second floor. They have yet to venture outside of our kitchen (that is where the closet to the hot water heater is).

Frankly I feel bad having to kill the mice and I am sick and tired of having to throw out food. It is an extra expense we cannot afford.

Is it legal to poop on the floor of a bathroom in a restaurant on "accident"?

In the state I live the crime would be reckless endangerment and it is a felony.

Since poop contains bacteria that can cause infectious and deadly diseases you are endangering the health and even the life of whoever may accidentally come into contact with it.

What if an innocent customer walks in there and doesn't see your poop, steps on it, slips and falls into it, or falls and hits their head and dies?

Not a very good way to get revenge.

A better way is to never eat there again and tell everyone you know not to go there any ore either. Hit them in the piggy bank. Businesses respond best to that.

4. Do you have any advice you wish someone gave you before starting this job?
5. Do you have any other comments about working as Veterinary Technician?

Thank you in advance. I appreciate your time and response.
(I will choose a best answer.)

Should it be illegal to feed feral cats?

Yes you should sign the petition.I worked with a local TNR (trap neuter release) group for a while and the group feeders serve a purpose beyond simply feeding starving animals. If there's a stable place for the cats to get food, they will reliably go there expecting food, which makes them easier to trap. They aren't usually smart enough to tell the difference between a the regular group feeder days and the days when there are traps set around with food in them. The TNR group does more than just spay and neuter. The stray cats who have already been neutered are monitored over time for health issues. They are often re-trapped to get shots or if one of the TNR members notice a problem. This improves the health of the whole community as well as reduces risk for local cats who are let outside. How are these problems noticed? By regularly observing them at the group feeders.Additionally, trapped cats are tested for feline HIV and friendliness, and suitable cats are removed from the feral population as fast as possible and adopted out. There are also a number of known hoarders in my city, and the group feeding areas allow the TNR groups to discreetly catch the cats owned by the hoarders and neuter/spay them, since hoarders DON'T. Hoarders make the problem so many times worse... especially because those cats aren't "homeless."This petition is sponsored by an already - operational TNR group which means all of these benefits are being actively removed from your community by this law, not just the "poor starving homeless kitties" problem. Without a TNR group, the feral cats will continue to repopulate and grow their numbers, switching their food source from group feeders to local birds and rodents. And that's BAD for the local ecology.
