Can I Charge My Android In The Microwave

Is there harm if we keep a phone to charge and rest on a microwave that is off?

Phones get fried in microwave, they don’t get charged.

Can i charge my android in the microwave?

Apparently, some people have never been told that they shouldn’t believe everything they read on the net. Let’s make it clear from the start: microwaving your iPhone will not charge its battery.

Yes, unbelievable as it may sound, influenced by Internet rumours, people are actually heating their precious iPhones in the microwave! The thought of “nuking” your iPhone probably makes most of you cringe, but incidents of iPhones being microwaved have been popping up over the Internet. But why? Seriously, why?

The trend, if you could call it that, seems to have started from an irresponsible thread on the Japanese internet noticeboard “2channel“, known for its anonymous and sometimes (or some may say often) dubious postings. Information on the thread claimed that an iPhone 5 can be charged by heating it in a microwave for 20 seconds, and for an iPhone 4s, for 30 seconds. Of course, trying this results in a crisply burnt iPhone or possibly even an explosion!

Can I charge my S6 Edge in the microwave?

No!

Why can't you put metal in the microwave?

Pic: http://skipthepie.org/soups-sauc...Metal, instead of just heating up, actually has electric voltage and current induced in it by the microwaves. Sharp metal objects like a fork or crumpled tinfoil will act like an antenna and generate extreme voltages at the pointy bits. This causes arc discharges. The arcing can get bad enough to damage your microwave. The main thing here is the points -- smooth metal (like the ring on top of some microwavable soup containers) is fine to microwave. It will still generate voltage and current, but these can just swirl around and be dissipated by resistive heating rather than arcing into the air. In fact, the trusty Hot Pocket uses this effect to produce a crispy and delicious snack. The paper jacket has a thin layer of aluminum on the inside, which absorbs the microwaves, gets hot, radiates heat, and crisps up the Hot Pocket as if it were in a toaster oven. Pretty smart! That said, I don't really recommend putting metal in the microwave unless it's part of a properly-designed microwavable consumer product. You never know what will arc or even reflect microwaves back into the magnetron and fry your device.

Can your phone get fixed after being in the microwave? Because I powered the microwave for two seconds and my phone won’t work. However the phone will vibrate when put on charge. Can this be fixed?

trying to charge your phone were you? ha ha fell for that one did you?best to take your phone to your service provider, they may not be able to fix your phone. but, they’ll be able to sell you a new one!

What would happen if you put your cell phone in the microwave?

Very bad reception, probably zero. A microwave oven is designed as a Faraday cage  to keep microwaves inside, and will be equally effective at keeping cellular radio signals out. (The door is fitted with a conducting metal screen with holes rather less than one wavelength across, and the seal is sometimes fitted with a metal conducting braid to make a continuous conductor across the edge.)One lady I talked to put her cellphone in a microwave on a boat in a lightning storm; the boat was hit and most electronics were damaged by the intense electric fields, but the cellphone was unharmed, protected by the Faraday cage.If you turn on the oven, then the phone will almost certainly be damaged - the microwave electromagnetic radiation will induce currents in conducting elements in the phone, and induce voltages across gaps between conductors which will almost certainly exceed the breakdown voltage of solid-state components in the phone (CPU chip etc.). These voltages can also exceed the breakdown voltage of air, leading to arcing, which will damage components by eroding the metal surface and depositing molten drops of metal elsewhere. The induced currents will probably be large enough to create a significant heating effect, melting solder and plastic. It may even catch fire; flames are a plasma, which is conducting, so I believe a microwave can pump energy directly into flames making them even hotter.

What happens if you put a cell phone in the microwave?

you'll have a ****** up cell phone and a ****** up microwave.

What can happen if you put a mobile phone in a microwave (with and without a battery) (with reason)?

Please don't try it. There are a few people who had already tried it with very devastating results.  I don't know anything about putting a phone without battery though. No, you can't charge your iPhone in the microwave

Can a cell phone be ruined by sitting on top of a microwave?

While there is no known reason to believe that a cell phone or
any other high-tech device could be ruined by a microwave oven,
there is also no reason to leave any such item in such a location,
so for the safety of both the gadgetry and your relationship,
from now on, find a different place to leave the phone.
