How can I clean my laptop's screen and keyboard in a safe way?
Laptop is a portable device, we can use it while taking lunch or dinner, while travelling, while doing exercise, and in any other situation. So, it is obvious that we will touch and use our laptop with oily hands, dirty hands or with our muddy hands. Even in any season either rain, cyclone, summer or winter we use our laptop to accomplish our task or duties.There are some commonly used methods for cleaning laptop like wipe-off with a dry cloth, wipe-off with a wet cloth, using some commercial spray and cleaners, etc. But do we have any idea that such methods of cleaning and maintaining our laptop are totally wrong…?But these methods are totally wrong. Laptop body, keypad and screen are sensitive surface which need to be cleaned with maintained enough precautions. By applying wrong chemical or spray liquid can damage its shine and looks. Using any ordinary cloth for cleaning can create scratches on your laptop surface.So always use Microfiber Cloth for wiping of the dust from your laptop. Because Microfiber cloth will absorb dust and make it clean. Using of any other ordinary cloth for cleaning may create scratches on your laptop body surface or even on the screen.Always use authenticated wax based liquid for cleaning like “CROWN MIN CREAM” which I try to clean my laptop and it “Clean, Shine & Protect” my laptop surface and always keep my laptop new.
How can I clean smudges off my laptop screen without damaging anything?
My 3 yr old niece got a hold of my laptop last night and before I could get it off of her she had already put her hands on the screen, leaving smudge marks that I can CLEARLY see. its very annoying!!!!!
Is it safe to use Pledge wipes on my laptop screen?
I wouldn't. Pledge is a polish. A mild soapy solution weak in stregnth is okay. Don't use glass cleaner either. Many flat screens are soft, and could easily be damage by waxes, cleaners, or pressing on them hard to wipe them cleam. Don't soak it, just dampen it with a mild soap (dish soap) and gently rub until it's looks cleaner.
