Can I Do 30 Mins On Crosstrainer In Morning Then In Evening Again

How effective is the elliptical trainer for losing weight?

There are so many good answer here, but allow me to share my humble opinion in this subject. I believed this question deserve an answer but it would be 2 part.Lets look into:1. How effective is Elliptical machine for losing weight 2. Why am I not losing anymore weight1st one: How effective is Elliptical machine for losing weightHonestly it is quite effective. Before I started Muay Thai boxing, I used to use this machine as my choice of cardio. It really help me burns off some fat as i move almost more part of my body especially the legs when doing the exercise.A good read is How to Use the Elliptical for Fat Loss. I think most equipment in the gym has its own place and time. So I don’t think the problem here is with the equipment2nd: Why am I not losing anymore weightI know how you feel and I was once dishearten by the result I am getting as well. I would spend hours on the gym and hit it hard every time on both weight and cardio (and I was slightly injure too from pushing too hard), but I am just not losing more weight. What going on here? This is when I start to realized what I did wrong. I was working too hard, and I diet too long. I didn’t even get a break. And that’s what you need to do. What? A break? Yes that’s right, what you need is a break from all this. Just take a short break like a week of doing nothing. No going to gym and pushing too hard, and no diet that makes you miserable. Once you have your break, then only come back with a fresh mind and body, and start all over again. Or you can deload your workout for a week before pushing hard the next. See this: Deloading 101: What Is a Deload and How Do You Do It?Things you need to remember about losing weightDiet is 80% of your success. Instead of diet too hard and expect seeing fast result, maybe its time to see diet as a long term goal. This way you won’t be miserable. Make it as a lifestyle and you will have fun. Don’t go diet feeling miserable because honestly, that’s the worst and you won’t last long with it.See this: How do you quickly and effectively lose weight in a healthy way?Last advice is be patience and enjoy the process instead of forcing it through. No point doing pushing hard only to give up half way through.

If I make a habit of running 2 km every day and eat in moderation, how will my body look?

Assuming that you're not superhuman/athlete, you'll probably be running for about 12-15 minutes to cover 2kms. I'm no expert, but I run regularly.. it takes my body about 10-15 minutes to correctly warm up so that I can start my real run. So I'm thinking you probably won't become slimmer by just doing that. When I started running, I could not run 2kms continuously. Hell, even running a kilometer was difficult and I used to keep eyeing my cellphone so that I could stop running as soon as my GPS hit the 1.0km mark. Here are some tips to get you started out:Start out by walking for 30 minutes or so (for a week)From the next week onwards try to run for a minute and slow down for 2-3 minutes and run again. Do this for about 30 minutes. Don't forget to warm up and cool down for 10 minutes (just walking). You iterate Step 2 with increasing run times till you can run for about 15 minutes continuously and rest 4-5 minutes in between. Try to run like this for about an hour.(Sorry for the iteration pun, I'm a programmer..)Here are some things to keep in mind:Keep varying your workout.. surprise your body by varying your tempo. Don't let the body get adjusted to the routine.Drastically cut your junk food intake. It really is not doing you any good.Don't even think about cigarettes. Tobacco and running is more dangerous than you not running and smoking regularly. Most importantly, don't procrastinate.. Start tomorrow. Yes, period.I actually love running because it makes me happy, but I'm not ashamed to admit that even I started out to burn fat and fit into my jeans again. I hope even you will come to enjoy running as much as I do.

How do I train myself to complete 1.6 km (1600m) run in 5 minutes?

First of all you have to set your mind bcz all your thinking is more work than bodyMake 6 weeks scheduleFirst 2 week, run 8–10 km with slow running and try to avoid breathing by mouth bcz it's reduce your inner stemina ( run only five days in week bcz rest is also important in this training)Next 2 week start running 5 km and your speed is uniform not slow not fast. Now you have made enough stamina for speed running. This week you run 3 km with random speed mean slow fast, slow fast and complete run,( some time you feel stomach pain when you run fast,so you should press your thumb in direction of fist and fold fist tightly in this process within 30 sec pain gone)Next week, this is last week for your training. Start run 1.6 km with time, some days you have take more time but don't frustrated it's reduce by daily practicing. Always take sprint 100–200m when you have finishing your run. It will improve your time. After running exercise is most important bcz your muscles have so much pain and exercise reduse your pain and you feel related. Eat healthy diet and rest property.Happy Running …….. Regret for my english, thanks

If I do 30 minutes on the elliptical every night will that help me lose weight?

Ok, I'll be the bearer of bad news:

First off, let's talk about your exercise. Doing 30 minutes every night on the elliptical is very good for your overall health and fitness. However, it's not going to have that big of an effect on your weight loss. It's estimated that it takes about 3500 calories to burn off a pound of fat. The average person burns about 10 calories a minute exercising, so you'll burn about 300 calories for each half hour you are on the elliptical. Doing that 5 days a week will burn less than 1/2 pound each week.

Situps. They'll strengthen your abdominal muscles, sure; but what effect to *they* have on your fat loss? Well, doing situps at a rate of 50 per minute burns around 10 calories a minute. So, doing 100 situps in 2 minutes will burn another 20 calories. In other words, doing 100 situps a day for 7 days has around 1/2 the effect on your fat loss as a single half hour on the elliptical.

Lastly, the most important part. If you want to lose fat, 90% or more of the equation is your nutrition, and unfortunately "I watch what I eat, no fast food, no junk, no soda, and tons of water" isn't going to cut it. You have to watch the number of calories you eat. If you go from eating 1500 calories of junk a day to eating 2000 calories of healthy food a day, you're going to gain fat.

So, to sum it up, keep doing your elliptical 30 minutes a day, and do your situps (but also add in exercises for your lower back, obliques and transverse abdominals). Start coutning your calories, and shoot for 1200-1500 a day. If you don't see any fat loss after two weeks, increase it to 1500-1800 a day.

How do i greatly improve my endurance for the 400m dash?

I just graduated from high school and my senior year was my first year of track. I ran a 49.56 400m dash. I will be going to college soon to run but until i leave i really want some training tips on how to better my endurance for the race. I always seem to die in the last 100m. Im not slow but im not fast in the last 100m. I really want to strengthen that part of my race. I have speed but just not endurance. Is there anything you can tell me that can help me? please

1.50 mil/30 min on treadmill good workout?

Yes, but i suggest believe it or not to not do it again at night. You HAVE to start off slow hun. If you keep thinkign you have to do it twice a day other factors will come in and make you quit.

You have done 30 mins. The recomended daily time frame. Thats good. Be happy and rest the rest of the day. Do that 5 times a week, of 30 mins.

After 2-3 weeks, or even a month, whenever your ready, increase it to 1 hour 3 times a week. Then to 1 hour 5 times a week.

You slowly build up, your body will be getting fit, and it wont mind doing more and more like that. You will lose weight, take it slow though and give it time. Good luck
