What are some of the most surreal places in Los Angeles?
I was born and raised in LA and have lived here for all of my 36 years. Two of my favorite, and in my opinion most surreal, places are The Hollywood Bowl and The Magic Castle.The Hollywood BowlI would argue that there is no better place in the world to see live music than at The Hollywood Bowl, especially on a warm summer Los Angeles night. "The Bowl", as we call it, is a large, outdoor amphitheater tucked into the Hollywood Hills, and boasts some of the best acoustics around due to its shell design. Seeing a live performance at The Bowl is just magical. You are allowed to bring in your own food and drink (for most shows) and people often picnic before and during the performances. Every time I've gone, it's been a surreal experience.http://www.hollywoodbowl.comThe Magic CastleThe world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood is a private club for members of The Academy of Magical Arts and their invited guests. I might be biased writing this since I am a member, but even though I've visited the Magic Castle hundreds of times, I still feel that it is one of the most surreal places in LA. Today, January 2nd, 2013, is exactly the 50th anniversary of The Magic Castle (large festivities are planned). The Magic Castle was originally a private home built in 1909 by banker and real estate magnate Rollin B. Lane. Mr. Lane owned much of what is now Hollywood. In 1963, Brothers Bill and Milt Larsen created The Magic Castle to fulfill their late father's dream (himself a renowned magician) of building an elegant private club for magicians. The purpose of The Academy is to encourage and promote public interest in the art of magic, and "The Castle" is the clubhouse. Inside the Castle are several showrooms, a full service dining room and several bars, as well as a piano that is played by invisible "Irma," the Castle's "resident ghost," who takes musical requests. The Castle is filled with all types of historical artifacts, as well as gimmicks and illusions. There is a strict dress code (formal) and no one under 21 years old is allowed (with some exceptions). How much does it cost to have a baby in the hospital?
As others have stated, it depends on what type of delivery you have (c-section or vaginal). It also depends on how long you or/and your baby stay in the hospital. Lastly, it also depends on what type of insurance you have and how much they will cover. You do not pay for your hospital bill up front, they will send you a bill within 3 weeks after you check out of your hospital. For me, I just had my baby 2 months ago. I have great insurance that covered me 100%. I paid for lab tests prior to giving birth which was about $20 each time (totalling about 10 lab visits). We received our hospital bill a few weeks ago, and it showed that our bill was approximatley $18,000.00. And that was staying in the hospital for 1 week because my son had jaundice. If you have a normal vaginal delivery and all goes well, you'll be out of the hospital within 3 days. Otherwise, you'll be there approximately 1 week if all does not go well. But definitely save money, because it only gets more expensive after you have the baby and you have to buy diapers and all that other stuff! Good Luck!

It is a very touching song, (more like a ballad) if anyone has or knows someone in the Armed Services you can understand how it touches the heart. I have searched the internet, and it is not working.
