Can I pursue part time phd and regular b.tech simultaneously from two different universities?

Can we do bsc and btech simultaneously?

No sir you can't, because B.tech is a regular program degree but B.sc can be pursued through Distance mode also. After 4 years of graduation, if you sit for placement in any company, you would be questioned that how can you complete two degree at a time, in same course precedanceeven though its a rule from government of india that no person an have two degree of different stream in same year. if i can be more specific than,“jail ho jyegi aur dono degree jabt ho jyengi”

I want to pursue a part time B.tech after getting my diploma and I'm working in a MNC company. Would a part time B.tech add value to my career?

You may go with AMIE (Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers). It's a professional certification that is offered in the area of engineering and considered as equivalent to B-Tech. Now, let's come to your first question. If you are already working after getting your diploma, I would suggest you to pursue AMIE as it does not require your full time in studies or college attendance unlike regular B-Tech course. The suggested course does not require too much money so you do not need to spend high amount in fees. Coming to your second question. In reality, regular courses are always preferred across industries but you have done your diploma regular and you are already working in a company, so it would add value to your profile because you will be getting experience along with your studies just like the industrial training is conducted with regular courses. So, I would suggest you for AMIE.Here, I would like to give you my personal suggestion. AMIE does come with some disadvantages as well. You can not apply for teaching job as this is a certification course which is considered equivalent to engineering degree by Ministry of Human Resource and Development but for teaching job, you need to have a full time regular degree. Another temporary disadvantage is that you can not apply for all the Central or State Government vacancies. This is because the MHRD has withdrawn the recognition of AMIE after May, 2012 but it is temporary because the writ petition has been filed by Institution of Engineers (IEI) in court and the decision is still pending. So, if you have time and money, I would personally suggest you to go with regular course as it will open up all the lines for you.All the Best!Harshit Kumar

Can one do a B.Tech in engineering and a BA from IGNOU simultaneously?

Definitely! The best thing about IGNOU is that it allows you to get another degree while pursuing a full time course. And what is better? This degree has equal recognition and worth. While a lot of us are forced into courses we aren't that fond of by our families or under societal pressure, doing a course from IGNOU in a field of our interest can be really satisfying.

Can I do TTC and degree one time?

A2A Yes, you can do a TTC and a degree if you can schedule the necessary courses; however, I do not recommend it because you are paying for something and not focusing your full attention. There is more to programs that getting the minimum especially when you are talking about degrees. What I do recommend is that you look at the TTC requirements and do any many courses in your degree that overlap. This would give you the maximum time to really do well in both programs, leading to better opportunities in the future.

Can one do a job on regular basis while pursuing an M.Tech.?

It depends on type of M.Tech you are doing. If you are doing part time and distance learning course, you can easily do a job. But if you are into a regular course, you might get some time in your last semester while doing thesis. And it totally depends on flexibility of your job and your guide/mentor. I was into a regular course and found time in my last semester while doing thesis. I managed because my job was flexible (flexible in the sense that they cooperated with me and allowed me to take leaves for the visits with my mentor) nearby my college.Hope you find this answer suitable. Rest all depends on your dedication towards your course and how well you manage job along with it.

Is it possible to earn a B.Tech from a regular college and a BSc from IGNOU simultaneously?

Factually i did a degree and 2 diplomas from IGNOU simultaneously with an advance diploma in VFx from ZICA with no trouble. The question is can you keep up with the pressure. Its no easy job to do 2 things at the same time. According to the link provided by you : two degree programmes under regular mode may not be allowed simultaneously as it may create logistic, administrative and academic problems. A student pursuing a degree programme under regular mode may be allowed to pursue a maximum of one certificate/diploma/advanced diploma/PG diploma programme simultaneously either in regular or open and distance mode in the same university or from other institutions. So technically you cannot under go 2 regular degree programmes. You can opt for one regular degree + one correspondence degree + ony one certificte/diploma/advance diploma (regular/correspondence {recommneded}).From IGNOU you can do only 2 courses at a time, but being strictly 1 degree simultaneously a certificate/diploma course. The course cycle should have a 6 months difference as in if you opt for degree in June Cycle, opt for diploma in December. All the Best!!!

Can I pursue ITI and BSc at the same time? Is it legal in every manner?

Yes you can do both at the same time .Here, I will tell you my own story ,I am doing my Iti diploma from government Iti Jodhpur (Raj.) And BSC (first year) from Vardhman University Kota .On 20 June 2017 ( may be ) I short listed in second merit list and I got Jodhpur ITI ,which were nearly 21 km away from my home .On 10 August 2017 , my brother (elder than me ) secretly fill the BSC graduation form from Vardhman mahaveer open University Kota ( I know this after some days ),also known as Vmou . I told to my bro that I can't do both at a same time , he encourage me and said “bhai chinta mat kar tere ye exam june-july me hongye , tu apni Iti karte Rehna or 2 mahiney phleye BSC pad Lena “. Then after ,my Iti college were started and after couple of months I gave my exam of first semester in January ( here ,bad luck for me that theory paper would re exam in March ) . may 3,2018 it's time for results ,I got 79% (approx) overall in first semester . Then after some days (on 13 may ) news came from Vmou that your practical classes of BSC will start soon from 15 may to 24 may (2 more days for exam ) . I went and join classes and gave practical exam ( of physics and CS) and during this period University published exam schedule time , and my exam started soon ( from 4 June to 7 July) .I focus on my studies till 7 July and I think I will definitely score good marks in graduation .Now , I am preparing for my second semester exam of ITI which will starts soon on 26 July 2018 .Suggestion most Wellcome .All the best -_-
