Can I Get A Cat Iv Waiver

Can I get a CAT IV waiver?

You can take the ASVAB as many times as you want, but you will never get a waiver for not passing. With the current recruiting environment we have enough applicants that we don't need to put up waivers for those who can't pass.

@ Mrsjvb, holy crap, shut up! You have no idea what you are talking about, EVER. At no point in time do you have to wait 2 years between ASVAB tests! The ASVAB falls under MEPCOM regulation, not individual branches, so don't try to say "it is different for each branch", because you will be wrong about that too. College transcripts regarding remedial courses do not matter, ever.

Army cat 4 waiver?

What was the waiver 4 for?

EDIT: if your line score for CO is 87 or above it appears that you are eligible. You have to be within commuting distance of NG Infantry units that have 11b open slots.

I am going to enlist with a cat IV waiver?

CAT-4 waiver? Any chance?

It isn't like your going fishing for one like a cat fish in a lake. Waivers are authorized and granted from the Department of The Army and Recruiting Command. If DA says there are no waivers to be granted then Recruiting Command can't give them out. Your recruiter and your buddy on HR are bound by the same rules as dictated by DA and RC. If there are no waivers available for certain criteria then there aren't any and hoping your friend or your recruiter will "catch' one isn't going to happen. When the run short of people and recruiting goals again they might start opening up waivers for certain criteria to get their recruiting goals up again but as long as people are out of work and banging down the recruiters offices and don't need anything but your standard ASVAB and Physical and a walk through MEPS then anyone else that might need a waiver is going to take a back seat until things get back to everyone not really needing to join the military for lack of unemployment.

How can I get a Category 4 waiver for the army?

Really, When The Army Lets A Certain Number of Cat IV Applicants In, What MOS' Are Open For Them?

You never know until you try. It al depends on your individial line scores. I'm guessing you're trying to join the Reserves and your recruiter told you we've opened up Cat 4s yesterday for them (22-30). If you aready tested then see your recruiter to see what is open. You may be surprised.

ADDED: We can't tell you what they will offer you. We had one young lady who got 92Y with a 31 but if you are using a Cat IV waiver then you don't even have that. If you get it then great. If not then enlist for what they have now and attempt to raise your ASVAB score so you can change your MOS later in your career. You just need to get your foot in the door now while the category is open.

Cat-4 slots for US ARMY?

The Armed Forces are limited by law to having no more than 4% of the enlisted force in CAT IV.

AFQT Scores are divided into the following categories:
Category I - 93-99
Category II - 65-92
Category III A - 50-64
Category III B - 31-49
Category IV A - 21-30
Category IV B - 16-20
Category IV C - 10-15
Category V - 0-9

CAT IV volunteers are considered to be barely trainable. CAT V's are not trainable and not accepted under any circumstances.

What is the best time to take mock tests for cat?

There are different stages of writing mocks while preparing for the CAT.First mock ideally should be written before you start your preparation. This helps you to understand where you stand and the paper pattern so that you can accordingly start preparing. You will know to some extent the type of questions along with your strong and weak areas. This will help you to plan your preparation where you need to focus more on your weak areas.Second stage comes during the course of your preparation, you can write one mock a month. The idea is again to gauge your preparation and to rectify any mistakes you are doing while you plan your preparation.Third stage comes 4 to 6 months before the exam (depends on when you have started preparing) when you can write a mock a week. Here the idea of writing mocks is to fine tune your preparation. There will be new areas that you will come across while writing the mocks. Go through it.Fourth stage comes around 2 to 4 months before the exam. Here you can write 2 to 3 mocks a week. Focus on building strategy for the exam. Can increase the frequency as you come closer to the exam. But avoid solving 1 mock a day as it will not help you much. It will not give you sufficient time to analyse and improve your weakness.Fifth stage is 1 to 2 weeks before the exam. Here you taper your preparation to 2 mocks a week. Focus on analysing your previous mocks. If you want to join a free WhatsApp group for CAT preparation then WhatsApp to 9821314788.
