Women don’t like shy guys. The problem isn’t exactly about being nerd. I mean there are cool nerds. You can be a logical and smart guy and have girls. But if you are shy around women then you are in trouble.Because of society norms, at least in most countries, girls still expect guys to make the first move.If you are too shy to do it then it’s very… very hard for you to meet girl. As girls very, “rarely” approach guys. Also they never invite guys out.I am in my thirties now. For many years, I had problems meeting women because I was shy. I can tell you, “I never ever had a single girl asking me out”.Actually, I only realized this a few days ago. Yes, I had a few cases of women approaching me. I can even count those situations with my fingers. You seriously need to force yourself to get outside of the box.By starting being more bold with girls.A thing you can try doing… is… walking down the street and start asking girls for time. Once you get comfortable with this, ask for directions. Afterward, say, “hi” to them, etc… and strike a conversation from there.Of course, you don’t need to do all of these in a single day. Do one for a week until it feels boring, then pass to the next exercise. You can also search online for social freedom exercises.I did this in the past to overcome my social anxiety and shyness. How do you describe a guy when writing a story?
Please don't make him perfect. When reading, perfect people are one of the main reasons I quit reading. Nobody is flawless. Maybe his nose is a bit too big, or crooked. Also keep in mind genetics! Most guys with dark hair have dark eyes. Very rarely do guys have black hair and blue eyes (unless it's unnatural, as in he is wearing contacts or hair dye). If the has blonde hair and the father has black, he'll probably have darker hair (although it doesn't have to be as dark as his father's). It'd be rare for him to have very light blonde hair. It's factual that some colours are dominate. Please think of real people! Same goes with traits, since describing a person isn't all about appearance. Include mannerisms. It's your story. Try writing out some ideas or points (bullet points are fine) of his appearance/mannerisms you really want to stick and have an impact with. Then, rewrite those things in a sentence until you're satisfied. Quick Example: Upon his arrival, I felt my heart begin to race. My eyes traced his tall slender figure, from his messy brown hair down to his worn combat boots two sizes too big. The closer he came, the better I could view him. His eyes warm, a range of soft colours. Reminding me of sweet caramel. Lilac bags hung under them, ageing him quite a bit, but he couldn't be much older than me nonetheless. Seeing him stumble a bit, I relaxed. He was just as nervous as me. I took a deep breath, inhaling his overly strong cologne. Naturally, I found myself nearly gagging on the powerful scent. However, his broad smile prevented that and instead it transformed the night into one I would not want to forget any time soon. Best wishes. :)

Im an attractive guy but I have hard time getting girls?
I have been told by countless of girls that I am a very attractive guy . Its been that way ever since I hit high school but here's the thing because of attention and compliments I received from girls over my teen years my self esteem has boosted to very high levels. Before high school came around I was a shy introverted anime loving geek then I took at dramatic change in my physical appearance and the way I acted. During the early years of high school I let it all go to my head and became a lil Douche bag ..girls found it repulsive so I was knocked off my high horse...I sat back for a lil while before I hit the dating scene again which is recently btw ,so now instead of being a douche I took my ego down a notch and started to approach women(since girls always approached me) and now Im getting negative feedback from girls who assume that I come off as the "player" and girls told me they didn't want to have anything to do with me because I seemed like the guy, girls are always over me . Even my ex-girlfriend told me this and felt that I was out of her league. I hate it when girls think this way about me when in reality I only had 2 girlfriends in my life because I couldn't get with most girls cause they think this way about me. How can I change my image? how should I act?
