Can I Get An Engineering Job With A University Degree From Another Country With No Working

If I get an engineering degree in Mexico, can I come back to the U.S and work here without starting over?

Well, as far as I know it will. I've a lot of friends who moved to the US once they graduated from university here in Mexico. I graduated from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and I've never heard of someone having trouble with their degree on the US or any other country, I'm currently working for a foreign company with it.I can't tell from other schools. You need to take in count that just a few courses are taught in English even in the private universities, if you don't know the language it would be hard to get your degree from a Mexican university.

Are job opportunities for foreign graduate mechanical engineers in the US limited? Even with high GPA's, MS students in ME in the US don't get to go to kick-ass engineering companies like Boeing, GE, or Shell, due to not having security clearance.

You are not wrong, let me give you a latest update. Since I graduated just last month and have been looking for work opportunities from the day I came to this country, I think I am qualified to answer here.It is 100% true that being an international student is equal to you carrying another person on your back and climbing Mt. Everest to get a job!I have interacted with recruiters from Boeing, Ford, FCA, GM etc. multiple times from 2014 to 2016 and I can tell you first hand that they are NOT going to hire any international student whatsoever. unless ofcourse you are the next child genius from MIT with patented technologies! It has nothing to do with security clearances all the time. Clearances play crucial role for Northrop, Lockheed, BAE etc. all such defense equipment manufacturers. None of the government agencies will hire you. So if you plan on becoming a aerospace masters graduate, dont expect to be hired in any USA companies in USA- unless ofcourse you can obtain PR status somehow.Even O&G cos are not hiring international students- atleast not Shell etc. forget about your moral, ethics and other stuff. No employment is a bigger problem than what you feel about drilling oil. There is ample cutting edge research being done in automotive technology in USA, but it strictly employees experienced people which beats the point for young talent. Also the technology is not really out of the world like defense equipment. As far as IT is concerned, everyone with IT masters gets a job irrespective of nationality here. Talented people get hired into FB, Google, Microsoft etc.I do know someone who graduated with me and got more than 5 offers from top cos like Apple etc in the $180k range. that person doesnt have any decade long experience etc. but yes as a mechanical engineer, if you do find a job ( If you climb Everest carrying another human)- you will be lucky to crack $60k mark.

Which country's MBA's and other business degrees are more highly regarded? UK, US, Canada, Australia...?

It seems that USA, UK, Canada and Australia are popular for students to do their business degrees, but which country/countries have that extra competitive edge? And why?

Also, how will employers view another countries business degrees? E.g. Australian MBA graduate seeking employment in US.

I am from Australia, I know even the best Australian universities can't compete with Harvard or Oxford in rankings or fame, let's just leave those out and discuss the more 'general' universities.

Is there a job of a fresh civil engineer outside the philippines, like singapore, USA, JAPAN, europe, etc..?

As a fresh graduate of any course in the Philippines bear in mind that you should possess experience FIRST right there in the Philippines before you decide to leave and go abroad. No company abroad will hire you or take you as an employee without any experiences mostly in the Philippines. Remember, foreign companies are not that STUPID to pay an individual who haven't got any idea or experience concerning their job like you for instance a fresh graduate of civil engineering course, if a Japanese company base in Dubai will hire you what do you think you can do for the Japanese company there? Ask for a training course regarding civil engineering works in your job? Your theory or studies about civil engineering are all in the books you read not through experience. Theory and experience are both different from one another.

So if I were you I rather look for a vacant job in a construction site there in the Philippines or apply for an apprentice or a low position for example AG& P in the Philippines or join TESDA to upgrade what you know about civil works and have at least 1 year experience work in the Philippines before you embark on your journey in applying a job abroad. Remember no PINOY or Filipino will help you abroad, even if both of you are civil engineers for help. Because most empoyers think that those Pinoys going abroad knows very well their job or have enough experience, in your case, civil works. What civil works do you know? None I suppose. If you are ask to supervise a tile setting or a bridge construction what will you do first? You got no idea right or left? Right. So it is better to train or have enough experience first in the Philippines and if you think you already know the civil works as an engineer then it is time for you to go abroad. I know because I am 17 years abroad, I know what Filipino mentality is all about, nobody will help you abroad except yourself and your guts.

Is it possible to get a job as an engineer in Canada after completing engineering in India? Is Indian engineering valid in other countries?

If you have done Engineering from India and from good reputed university, then it is recognized in Canada. But looking for a job and come company hiring you for Canada, is really difficult and close to not possible. The best for you will be if you are an Engineer is to apply under Federal Skilled Worker which is open at this time. Secondly, even if it is closed, keep working in your country and gain experience and get your WES Canada done and hopefully even in 2015, Engineer category will be open under PR to Canada too. Also if you have done Engineering from well institution, then yes will be valid for other countries too, not an issue. Even if you want to move abroad, Australia and New Zealand and Denmark etc are also open for you to go ahead. Call us for any visa and immigration services needed Phone: 011-43001234, +91 8130575044
