Can I Get Into Ucr Or Sdsu

Should I go to UCLA or SDSU?

UCLA is in a different league than SDSU. It's not even close. That said, it depends on your ultimate career goals. For example, if you want to work in finance, unequivocally go to UCLA. However, if you want to be an educator, say 4th grade math, it likely does not matter where you attend school. Your peer group, exposure, opportunities, etc. will all be  significantly better at UCLA; however it really just depends on what your goals are, your financial position (though is a UC really that much more than a Cal State?), and where you want to live.

Which college should I go to, SDSU or UCR?

honestly i would go to san diego state. from what i heard its better than riverside and a much more nicer location if only i went there. if your WANT party i suggest UCSB but unfortunately they mostly have sciences and no business majors. as for college life it's not as CRAZY as the movies make it seem.. classes are shorter and you can build your schedule as convenient as you would like to suit your schedule and there are a very large selection of courses that are interesting.there are always counselors that help you lay out your plan. when you r in school you never get tired of being in the campus because it looks so nice.. i don't dorm although i have been in them and its nice it looks like nice apartments and thats a perfect way to meet people since you live with them rather than just going to class with them. if you want to join the Greek system which is Sororities/frats etc. thats cool. you can choose which kind you want to join. some focus on things like community service, culture, business, and some are social sororites and ususally always get invited to the frat houses for celebration which is cool but also being in one can be time consuming. and honestly, i think college is easier than high school and SD, theres always something to do in that city.

Which school should I go to:UCR, SDSU, CSULB?

I have been accepted to all of them except CSU Long Beach.

Here are my majors for each:
UC Riverside: Business Admin.
San Diego State University: Business Admin, Management.
CSU Long Beach: Business Admin, Management.

I am not too sure how good UC Riverside's Business school is. And SDSU is supposed to be pretty good. Not exactly sure about CSULB either, though.
I have only visited Long Beach, I will be visiting the other two soon.
As far as the social environment(outside of school), I think this is how I would rank them.

SDSU, CSULB, and UCR.

I want to go somewhere that has a good social scene but I'm more worried about which school has a better program for business.

Just got denied from SDSU?

What makes you think you can get into a UC when you were rejected from a mediocre CSU?

What is better- Ms in CS at UCR or MS in CS at SJSU?

I took two CS classes at UCR, and I have to say that the staff is very good. The CS program even has their own brand new building with one of the better on-campus coffee shops located inside.Best advice to choose between two schools - visit them. Go to the building for your program and really take a good look. Talk to some faculty or staff when you’re there to get the feel/vibe of the people that will be teaching you for the next three years.

Should I go to SDSU or UCR for Computer Science?

CSRankings: Computer Science RankingsSDSU isn’t ranked on here. UCR is. Easy choice.

I need help deciding between UC Irvine or SDSU. I want to do Computer Science for both but for UCI I got in undeclared but SDSU as a CS major. I live in San Diego so it would be cheaper to stay and not accrue any debt from loans. But UCI has an overall better program. Can someone give me advice?

UCI, part of the University system, is certainly prestigious and takes higher GPA and test scores (or it did) to get in. Look at what the Professors are researching, both applied anfdtheoretical. If something they are doing interests you and if you have done your research into the future of that field, then you have choices to make. SDSU is a great teaching University. Do the same exercise that you do for UCI. Make sure both sets of Profs are 1. Publishing. 2. Make sure the classes you want are taught by the Profs, expecially upper division. You want to get as much brain info from your Computer heroes that you can. Sure, both schools will utilize grad. students to teach and thats ok. If you can, sneak in one class or ask a prof if you can audit just 10 minutes of his class. Be honest..tell him/ her what you are doing and you are considering them as a mentor or? Cost: Yes, SDSU will be cheaper. Who is paying? You or your folks..be considerate..my folks never had the money so I had to put my self through college and SDSU by myself. I hope I gave you just a little to think about. Good Luck.PS. I reread your question…weigh is it important to hit the ground running as you would at SDSU or wait to get into the impacted program at UCI. Call around a few corporations in San Diego, either Human Resources or the Computer Dept. and ask them directly. Ask to talk to the Director or Ass't Director. Say your from Whatever HS in SD and you have a question about your college eduction. Right now, with all the boomers retiring, the job market is wide open (Not because of Trump)..but population shift.
