I'm thinking about getting a pigeon loft. However, the neighborhood I live has a lot of cats. Would I be arrested for killing a cat if it tried to attack my pigeons?
I am unfamiliar with British law on this point, however, British property laws are what US property laws are based on. So, unlike everyone else who has posted to you, I’m going completely counter to the majority. Since your pigeons will be defined under most law that I am familiar with as “livestock,” and the law tends to favor the livestock owner (because livestock is “property” and the law favors a property owner against anyone or anything that threatens, damages, or removes it), I would say it is highly likely that you would not be arrested for defending your pigeons. The law also tends to require that pet owners keep their pets “under control.” A roaming cat is, by definition, not “under control.” If you have taken sufficient care to safeguard your pigeons from attack, making sure the loft has protections and is reasonably secure, the law will favor you.And before all you cat lovers jump on me screaming I am a horrible, cruel person, and I should roast in hell for all eternity, all I am answering here is whether or not the law favors the pigeon owner or the cat owner. My dog keeps killing my dad's pet pigeons?
He killed one and my dad beat the dog so he would learn his lesson. He recently killed another one, fortunately we disposed of the pigeon's corpse without my dad knowing. How can I get the dog to stop killing the pigeons?
Can I take a felon to the shooting range?
As other answers state: No. A felon cannot touch a firearm at all. Or ammunition. If they pick it up they are now felon-in-possession. My dad just threatened to leave my mom?
I know my parents haven't been getting along that well, but I thought that they both still loved each other. I'm pretty sure my mom loves my dad a lot. I don't want them to separate; my mom has always put our family before herself, all she ever does is clean, cook, and run errands for us. She has no job because she decided when me and my twin sister were born that she was going to dedicate all of her time to taking care of us, and she's stuck to that. My dad threatened to leave her tonight over something really stupid: they were invited to his friend's birthday party and my mom said she didn't want to go because the last time they went she was miserable, and then my dad said that she had to go and they argued back and forth. My dad's been acting really strangely lately as well, having bad headaches and nausea. Could something be seriously wrong with him? I'm also worried about my mom. She has had a really shitty life to be honest; she's been through a great deal of things that people shouldn't have to go through. She's not the most social person, and her family isn't caring at all. She doesn't have any friends because she's spent the past 17 years tending to our home and family. She's really sad a lot, but she still tries her hardest to be extremely kind. I'm scared that if my dad decides to leave her that she'll develop anxiety and/or depression. I'm just so worried about my mom, she has no job and no way to support herself. What do I do?

My life is terrible what do you think of it?
When I was four years old my mum and dad split up. My dad used to beat my mother I ended up getting hurt mentally and physically. Then when I started school I was bullied all the way through. It was none stop I just didn't know what to do with myself. Everyone I ever trusted let me down I had three best friends who all turned on me in the end. When I was seven I was run over and damaged my spine badly. Which gives me hell when the weathers cold living in Britain doesn't help either. Then at school I got jumped and they broke my arm and gave me a black eye. I get paranoid now because of the bulling I went through. Then I found out I was shortsighted and had to wear glasses not so bad. Then found out I have a 50% chance of getting a inherited eye condition which everyone in my family has which makes you go blind when your older. I have a grandmother who always causes trouble for me for no reason what so ever. I have to give money to my mother because she has money trouble. I have very little money at the moment as it is. Then just a few months ago my granddad the man who has been the rock in my life had a very bad stroke. He now has been told he hasn't got more than a year to live. I don't know what I will do without him. On top of that I had my best friend fall out with me over a misunderstanding which wasn't my fault. I just don't know what to do anymore. I am training at college at the moment hopefully it will lead to a decent job where I can support myself financially. I just feel like my life is going no where and its all been wasted I wish I was never born. Others have live's where everything goes perfect I didn't chose to have this one. what do you think of my life ? cos all I can think is I want it to end soon.
