Can I Get Some Help With Some Japanese

Help with some Japanese?

I just had a few questions about how to ask certain things in Japanese and what a few words can mean.

How do I ask someone which station we are currently at? I know station is eki but am still a beginner with grammar. Everytime I'm in Japan I end up getting lost or sometimes the trains don't have digital screens to display the current station.

Another question would be how to ask "Do you know where ____ is?" Such as if I'm trying to find a place or store but need some help with directions, or am lost.

What does the word "omai" mean? Not sure if that's how it's spelled that what but I hear it a lot in anime and have no clue what different meanings it has. Usually it seems to be used during fights or serious scenes.

A little help with some Japanese words?

Okay, sorry, I'm probably the hundreth person who's asking this, but could somebody help me with saying and then tell me how to pronounce a few little sentances in Japanese?
If you do, I'll be eternally in your debt, <3!

Need some help with Japanese counters?

Unfortunately, no.

I believe you need to remember it the tough way especially with dates and tsu counter >.<

All I know is 3,6,8 are most of the time special in pronouncation for the general counters - like ko,hon or kai.

As for "tsu", the 1st 10 which hitotsu and futatsu are special (however counter for people, only 1st 2 are special - hitori, futari, san nin, etc).

Usually, it just comes with tons of practise, you will get it right sooner or later. As for me, I will try to remember it but being lazy I simply put

"numerial" + counter in roman/kanji style - ie 6つ/六つ instead of muttsu (sometimes I myself mispronounce it as rottsu instead.) Both are accepted by Japanese standard.

Any tips on learning japanese.......?

Hey, umm....not sure, just practice as you are and try writing the words on sticky notes and posting them on your door or where ever you look often.
Or you can keep repeating it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...

I'm having trouble learning Japanese and could use some help.?

Dousuru: What are you doing?
Nani shite/shiteru no: What are you doing?

How should i go about making sentences in Japanese? I thought questions ended in "ka" and "no" was the particle for possesion.

Stuff like this confuses me and makes learning difficult. I also thought that "desho" as a suffix meant "should" like "Taberu desho" = "I should eat."

I'm not interested in phrases, they are nice but hollow. I'm speaking Japanese but have no idea how those words create my message. Plz help they're no Japanese speakers in my area so any help is welcome!

Please help me with some Japanese! Thanks.?

"tabe da to omou! Watashi, yoru, osoku made okite iru kara."

You heard wrong. It shoud be dame but tabe.
dame da to omou! / I will not be able to (jog).

"Because at night i wake up late at night".
Shoud be:
"Because i wake up late last night".

Add:
40 times!? You have caught the other parts correctly. Woom, mysterious!
Is that pronounced by Japanese?
In the pronunciation of English style, [t] and [d] are same shape of a tongue.
[b] and [m] are same shape of lips. Ex. Book and map.
As you know, Japanese vocalism is different from it of English little bit.
Also, in the listening, it might be some barriers.
These are all I can think about now.
I hope you would do the excise with proper pronunciations steadily.
Ganbatte ne.

I'm sorry for my mistake, and want to revice,
"Because at night i wake up late at night".
Should be
"Because i wake up late at night".

Where can I get Japanese friends on the internet?

From the Internet ?It will not be friends. And in general, friendship for the Japanese is a huge problem. Nobody wants to be friends with anyone. Too much selfishness and self-interest. Most Japanese who have friends begin to make friends at school.Yes, all in case of trouble act together. But in ordinary life, egoism in large cities is just hellish. Although another generation ago everything was different.Even couples live completely aloof. Yes, sex is regular, and everybody tries for each other, but no feelings, no cohesion. The family exists either simply by habit or for a child. And for those born in the 1970s who still show friendly and open feelings for their spouse, they look like some strange people. Young people frankly do not understand all these "stupid behaviors" as they consider. Too much concentration on yourself. Maybe that's why they are increasingly beginning to manifest disasters. Their gods want them to become more human. Not so harmful.
