Can I Have Some Ideas On An Instructional Piece That Is Directed To Older People

What qualities define a great team leader?

The best leaders are those who can lead and direct without misuse of their power. They must be able to inspire others in a direction or greater good. They must be strong enough to stand firm in decision making and leading others without an egotistical attitude. A great team leader will encourage others to brain storm and contribute to the whole. They also lead by example and intelligently. They are also good listeners. Charisma helps a team leader.

Is the quality of education dropping in Public schools?

OIf anything, i’d argue that it’s improving. The ‘decline’ is largely political rhetoric, a desire to overly legislate education, and a little bit of rose-colored glasses (“when I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL, we were so much better” - no you weren’t, and no i wasn’t).Educational theory evolves. While my masters was filled with a lot of nonsense about dancing in the spring meadows with your students and everything would be ok (idiots), it was coupled with a much different and more authentic style of instruction. Rather than focusing on teacher-led and sitting in rows passively absorbing information, it was about student directed instruction and action-based learning. While you certainly can’t just let the students ‘learn whatever they want’, there is a lot to be said about student engagement when that becomes a part of the equation. This idea is very much a late 20th century/21st century idea for a norm. A lot of older teachers don’t do this - this is NOT an ad hominem, but the baby boomers have a reasonably large amount of teachers who maintain a dry classroom. There are millennial teachers who do as well, but it seems to be a lower amount. As boomers retire, younger teachers with ‘revolutionary’ ideas on how to teach become more prevalent. More importantly, older teachers WITH those fun impulses are more tolerated today. Did you know that i can walk around in a suit with a bow tie, barefoot, and make fun of children? And they make fun of me back? And we all trust each other just a little but more? I wouldn’t have been able to do that 40 years ago.I’m over-simplifyinng the generations to the point of stereotype. What i mean by all of this is that youth brings new thought, and those new thoughts become a norm.NOW, if we could keep more younger teachers from burning out within five years, we’d be in business. Unfortunately, thanks to legislative and administrative attacks, that can be hard to do.Ignore the pay. I get paid fine.

What are some perks to teaching preschool that most people may not know?

Hey,I guess the biggest blessing is you get to work with the young minds, who are innocent and you can revive the child in you. Other than that, some of the perks include,You being a skilled and certified teacher you are effectively shaping the cognitive, emotional, creative and language skills of the little ones. This means you can understand the changing times, influence a soul because these little ones are the future talents. You create leaders and has the potential to change the world. Nation-building starts from the basic days, for instance, making the children understand why hygiene is important using the ‘wash your hands’ motto in fun rhythmic sense. Also make them use their cognitive, creative ideas by encouraging in the psychomotor activities.Exploring your managing skills as a teacher, since you are responsible for maintaining the groups or large to a small number of people. Technically the child centred programme ensure to cater to the individual needs through one to one communication system. Then again you are indirectly promoting self-control, as the children are disciplined to understand when and where to stop. This is done individually. An area of ‘readiness’ is built up. Children are ready to learn, read, write or solve the maths puzzle.Personally, these are some perks of teaching pre-school, in case you have more to enquire or add, drop a comment below or message. Thanks! :-)

What's the difference between young and old teachers?

Obviously, experience is the main difference. Apart from that, an old teacher has a “knowledge-base” that is developed over years of teaching experience. A knowledge-base of common pitfalls a student makes in understanding the subject, a list of most common doubts a student can get while studying the subject, etc. When it comes to young teachers, they are generally the “smarter” generation. I mean, they make use of technology and various teaching gadgets. They are the ones with “more energy”. I do not say the old teachers do not adopt to the changes. But a majority still like to stick to the board and chalk method (in Indian context). Also, I see most of the teachers as they grow old, become monotonous in their teaching methods and once “decided” upon something, they are stubborn.Hope this helps,Sujeevan.

What do I do to become a film director in India?

I know the exact situation that you are in. The only difference was that my family did not oppose. The following worked for me, you might wanna give it a thought.Start your film making journey by joining a small part time course that has a duration of about 3 months and doesn't cost a bomb. What will happen is, instead of signing up a for a 3 or 2 year course in any institute where you will end up wasting your money as well as time, with a short term course you will get the clarity if film making suits you, and which part of film making attracts you the most  [writing, directing, cinematography, editing, acting, etc]. You will even end up spending time with a few others who share your passion for cinema and you can start making short films together, Start small but aim big. Do as many short films as you can to polish your art and craft skills. After the short term course you can decide if you want to join an institute or not but i would recommend you use that money to buy a camera [canon 600d for around Rs. 30,000] is always a better option than spending it on an institute for creative flied such as direction. With a camera always at hand you can shoot whatever you want, you can shoot your mom making a roti but do it in a style that no one has seen before. Trail and error will polish your skills. If other technical flied such as cinematography or editing interests you then by all means you must join an institute as they will have all the technical equipment to help you polish your skills. Remember: Industry politics do not effect content driven film makers.

Help with essay ideas please!? ):?

Guns are a pretty big thing at the moment

so maybe you could take a side for that ... either for gun control or against it ... or maybe keep it more limited like arguing either for or against the average citizen being allowed to own assault weapons or the need for silencers and mega sized clips of ammo

take your position ... stick to it and give a persuasive argument to support it
