Can I Have Tattoos If I Want To Be An Event Planner

Can I have tattoos if I want to be an event planner?

I'm a senior in highschool and soon off to college. I want to study to be an event planner. It's a perfect way to express my creativity. I eventually want to become a wedding planner. Can I have tattoos? Not a crazy amount or anything but I wanted to get a couple in visible spots like my foot and wrist. Would this be a problem for what I want to get into?

Would you hire an event planner with a small tattoo on the inside of her finger?

Hello all, I've been wondering if someone would hire me if I had a tattoo on the inside of my finger. It would be barely visible because I would be getting in on my middle finger, so my pointer finger would cover it up on the side.

Now for the real kicker: what I want it to say is "trust no one" This is a personal value or belief that most people dispute and think is crazy, but I find it very important to be generally independent and rely on myself.

I have wanted this tattoo for a really long time, so I guess the question is should I get it soon and cover it up with makeup for interviews but not cover it up once (if) I get the job? or, eventually I want to start my own event planning business, and get that tattoo once I own my own business and don't have to worry about getting a job, but I still have to worry about clients?

I am generally very conservative, I carry myself with class and I am an extremely hard worker. I take pride in my professionalism, but I know if would eat away at me for the rest of my life if I never got this tattoo after wanting it for so long and feeling so strongly about its message. I really cannot imagine getting it anywhere else on my body. I also have spoken to tattoo artists and I am aware of how many do not like the placement because it fades or smudges but that has still not discouraged me from wanting it.

Please help with what time you think I should get that tattoo! Thank you!!

Would You Hire A Wedding Planner With Visible Tattoos and/or Piercings?

To me it would depend on how you presented yourself.

If you come to a meeting with a face full of piercings, full sleeve tattoo's and you're sporting dirty hair and grungy clothing... then no I wouldn't hire you. BUT if you've only got a small tattoo that's visible (say on the ankle) and only your eyebrow or nose is pierced and you've taken the ring out and replaced it with a 'holder' bolt (very thin bolt that just keeps the hole open), and the rest of you is neat and well-presented then I'll give you a chance to make your pitch.

In other words, the fact that you've got a tattoo or piercing isn't going to bother me as much if you're well-dressed, clean, neat and organized; because while you are working for me you're still your own person. And if you are the sort of person that has tattoo's and piercings it doesn't necessarily mean that it'll impact on your ability to do the job.

But I would recommend that you keep such things to a minimum, so no full sleeve tattoo's and enough eyebrow piercings to sink a ship. Keep it tasteful. People want to hire someone who has good taste and who shows it.

I've got a lot of friends who are into the goth/alternative scene and I've seen them on the weekends when they're in full goth mode and I've seen them when they clean up for work. I'm always amazed at the transformation and again, their weekend look doesn't impact their ability to do their jobs.

Personally, I'd only hire a consultant if I needed one. So only if it was a destination wedding and you were at the destination; or if I had no time thanks to work, studies etc. But ordinarily, no I wouldn't hire one. I like to do everything myself and I'm a bit of a control-freak (I like to control everything).

What's the appeal of tattoos? Why do people permanently mark their bodies with words, images, and logos of stuff they were into at the moment?

There is no permanently. This life ends, and the tattoos I bear will decompose along with the skin above them and the muscle below. Why would someone in their 20’s write down their thoughts and feelings, or create any art, knowing they will not think or feel that way in their 30’s or 50’s or 80’s… using a bunch of words/phrases/images/logos that will 100% change in meaning to them as they mature into their adult life?Does it matter that the canvas is their skin and not YouTube? What you express there is “permanently” part of how you are perceived too.My mother got her 1st tattoo in her 50’s, a wonderful piece containing several symbols that have been important to her since she was your age.My wife and I have our wedding bands worn on our fingers, and tattooed around our forearms as well. Why do people get married? Why do they want to be together “forever”?This life is a brief breath, and unless your religion says tattoo will ruin you in the afterlife or there is social judgement here on earth, I see no reason why you should not get any tattoos you want, dress how you want, speak how you want, and seek out what brings you the most joy and satisfaction. When I was in my early 20’s, I was worried about getting ink… what if I could not get jobs, or attract women, because of how they would perceive me? Who you are is there beneath the skin. Genuine. That 20 year old self is inside the 30 year old, the 50 year old, the 80 year old… like rings in a tree.(also, laser removal is really good these days! A wonderful tattooist told a group about how he was on his third set of full-arm sleeves. He loved getting tattoos from the artists he worked alongside all over the world, and whenever he ran out of room, he had all but his favorites removed and began again!!!I never regret my tattoos, but FREQUENTLY regret not more enthusiastically embracing life-as-it-was-happening, for fear of what tomorrow might bring.

I want to be a physicist, would a tattoo impact my chances?

If you ever have a doubt like this, remember, this man, Matt Taylor is a project scientist in the infamous Rosetta mission. He lately went iconic due to the amount of tattoos on his body but which are still overshadowed by his achievements.A really ugly tattoo, if I may say.

Are rose tattoos on woman trashy ??

I want a rose tattoo on my shoulder but don't know weither or not it would take my class away also I plan on being a wife/mom and maybe a high school teacher or a event planner

Why does god hate Tattoos?

God doesn't "hate" tattoos- if you want the list of things Jesus hates check this verse out: Proverbs 6:16

I am a born-again Christian, i have been for 14 years now. i am planning on getting a couple of tattoos.

This is the deal bro: before Christ came to this earth and died on the cross for our sins, the Hebrew nation was bound by what we now call the old law. This law was laid out in the old testament, and included things such as burnt sacrifices and rules and what the Hebrew people could eat and wear, and also what they could do to their bodies. But, because Christ came and freed us from that law, by dying on the cross, and providing the eternal sacrifice we needed, we dont need to ad hear to that law (which includes the Ten Commandments), although they are awesome guidelines to follow.

But, our bodies are temples, and we are to glorify God in everything we do. So as a christian, getting the f-word or a naked woman tatted on my body isnt doing such. Ya know what im saying?

Hope this helped man. Email me if you have furthur questions- id be glad to talk

God bless--

Have tattoos gone too mainstream?

If THAT is a concern for you (basically “will people think I’m too extra, too bougie, whatever…”), don’t get one. You are. If your motivation for getting a tattoo is to impress people with how you look, you are barking up the wrong tree. And you will absolutely end up with a tattoo you’re ashamed of.
