Can I Have Your Opinion On This Phone

Which smart phone is the best in YOUR opinion?

Thinking about getting a smart phone and just wondering people's opinions are these days. I will award the best answer to the person giving the most detail!

What's your opinion on phone sex?

My sister overheard me having phone sex and she says i'm a total slut for doing it! I hate having that title, and I've been feeling really down on myself, esp. since that came from my big sis! I always that it was kinda natural and everyone does it. So I'm just wondering what your opinion of it is? Sluttly or not?

What is your opinion on Xiaomi mobile Phones?

I have already used Mi4i, redmi 3s, redmi note 3 and currently I am using Redmi 4, one thing I have to say that if you want a smartphone for a year then go for Xiaomi otherwise don't go for it.Xiaomi uses cheap quality components, In my case my mi4i initially works fine then itstarts hangingAfter a year its battery start swelling and replacement of battery cost rs 2400 (mi service center price)Its loudspeaker is almost dead.My mobile falls from my table and its screen breaks very badly. Then I have purchased Redmi note 3 and after 6 months, I have again faced problemsMy camera quality start degrading. Its loudspeaker is almost dead.Vibration motor is not working.Stop charging. My Sister purchased redmi 3s prime and she is getting following issuesLed indicator stop working.Front camera is dead.Screen pixel is dead. It’s not only happened with me, my friends also getting these types of problems even if you search on the internet, you will get thousands of users who are struggling with these types of problem. So if you like me who like to use the latest mobile phones or heavy user, then you can purchase xiaomi phones, it works fine for a year, but if you want for a longer run don't go for Xiaomi, Try to increase your budget and purchase Samsung, HTC like companies.

What is your opinion of Motorola phones?

Low. Moto used to be the big player in cell phones. Now all they can do is try to differentiate the brand with stupid addons that they are clearly not selling, since they are nearly giving them away. The idea behind the magnetically attaching gadgets is, at first glance, cool. But they are very poorly thought out and add a lot of bulk to an already large phone. The projector sucks. Honestly. Don’t bother. The speakers fire out the back of the phone. Not all that great. You have to prop the phone up to make best use of them. The extended battery is low capacity and has to be charged separately.I don’t know how much longer they are going to stay in the mobile phone market. They do throw a lot of money at trying though. To be fair, Samsung has the market wrapped and are stepping all over Apples toes. They are HUGE and throw zillions of $$$$ at marketing. They make enough money to be able to try weird shit, throw it at the wall and see what sticks. Then they analyze what they’ve learned and refine it. If it doesn’t work, it gets axed immediately. And really they make great phones. HTC is dying, although for some reason Google bought them or at least threw some money at them for some IP. Didn’t Google just sell Moto? I’m not sure what they are thinking, but what the heck. They have plenty of money. Maybe one day they will upset Samsung. I’m not holding my breath though.Right now it’s Apple, Samsung and debris. I wish Blackberry had gotten it’s head out of its ass sooner.

Opinions on vonage phone service?

I had Vonage and had no problems with them. They are cheap and very good. But you need high speed or DSL service.

What is your opinion about Panasonic mobile phones?

In my personal opinion, Panasonic India[1] Smart Phones deliver what they promise. They promise devices that are well in the budget with some of the best features. Their brand USP is to create smartphones that affordable so that can be accessible to each and every individual. I have been using Eluga series' Ray 500[2] for quite some time now and have nothing but a positive feedback for it. It was a tough call for me as all of their devices were well in my budget and neck to neck with features. It took me a while to decide but I made my mind and am happy with it.   Their devices come in two different categories - Eluga and P series. Eluga series has features that are high on the tech side and comes with a price which is above their own strata But below what other brands provide. P series, however, includes devices that are mid-range and are available within 6-7K price spectrum. Not all the features are up to the mark but have distinctive features. My overall experience has been delightful so far and can assure you will be too.Footnotes[1] Panasonic Smart Phones – Latest Mobile & Android Phones in India [2] Panasonic ELUGA Ray 500

What are your opinion on the Huawei Foldable phone?

My opinion of the Huawei foldable is that it won't sell. I am extremely sceptical about the design and placement of the screen. As the screen is wrapped around the outside of the device when folded, I can see a lot of wear and scuffs occurring along these edges. I cannot see this being avoided no matter how tough and durable the screen material is.Personally I would have liked to have seen the main screen on the inside of the device when folded, with a smaller secondary screen on the outside.Because of these reasons and the inevitable high price of it, I can't see it being that successful.Out of all the foldable phones coming our way this year, I think the only manufacturer to come up with a decent design is Motorola. Take a look at it, the design is exceptional. One thing is for sure though, Huawei do produce some excellent phones that have some great features and excellent specs. Just be careful of those screen scuffs if you're buying their foldable handset and make sure you buy some high level protection - the design could be it's downfall.UPDATE:- I'm pleased to find out that Huawei will be supplying a protective case for this device as they do with all their premium handsets. At least that will offer the screen some protection. And I do have to admit that the overall design does seem more practical than Samsung's attempt. After scouring many tech websites, there seems to be more excitement surrounding the overall design of Huawei’s offering compared to Samsung's foldable handset.

What is your opinion on metal phone cases or bumper cases? Do they affect signal strength?

A lot will depend on the antenna design of the phone.Would NOT recommend them on iPhones, because iPhones since the 4 use the metal frame and exposed edges as part of the antenna structure. If the antennas are on the backing plate, or are otherwise NOT using the frame or edges, then a metal bumper should be fine.HOWEVER. cases with metal backings AND bumpers are going to interfere in most cases. Some cases also have a metal backing plate which may interfere with the NFC or wireless charging. The uag monarch cases supposedly have a metal reenforcement plate, but no metal on the sides. I have NOT seen any issues with wireless charging, Apple Pay, or signal issues with them on a iPhone X.

Your opinion on talking on cell phone while driving.?

yes it should be illegal in the US. In many countries it is already illegal to drive one handed for any reason, smoking, eating, talking on cell phones, changing CD's it's all dangerous. The main one I know of is Austrailia.

What is your opinion on giving a 10 year child a smartphone?

We allowed our 11-year-old a phone. It was my husband’s old phone, and he bought it at the trade-in price with money saved from yardwork. He’s since saved much more and upgraded to a new phone. He owns the hardware, but because we pay for the monthly plan, we own the software.Rules and consequences regarding his new phone are written in a long list with places he initialed beside every point and signed at the bottom. There is no expiry date on the contract, although some changes may be made as he gets older. We have all of his passwords, and check texts periodically - which he knows about. He is very familiar now with Texas law and some of the cases involving teens and photos, and the lasting consequences thereof. When he goes to bed, the phone stays recharging with us in our room. Dinner table/restaurants/daily car rides are places for conversation, so no phones - that goes for us grownups as well. He’d love for his brother, now 10, to get a phone so that they could play minecraft together; his brother will get a phone at 11, if he has the money saved to buy a trade-in.
