Can I Know The Weight Gaining Food Recipe Coz Of My Both Children Are Loosing There Weight

Has anyone else experienced some weight loss/inability to gain taking KEPPRA [Levetiracetam]?

Hi! I have also have had partial complex seizures. I was started out with Depakote, and I went through hell! I gained 70 pounds on Depakote, and became dull. My quality of life plummeted. My doctor switched me to Lamicital, which then helped me lose the weight I gained, but did a poor job managing my seizures.

I just checked Epocrates, and weight loss is not a reported adverse reaction of Keppra, I do know while I was on Keppra I became a whole other person, very moody and hostile.

Seizure medicines are seriously the devil, I do not know your stance on this, but you may want to look into Medical Marijuana if it is legal in your state. I was always against it but it gave me my life back.

Because the Keppra is making you lose so much weight but seems to be working with you I would one, go to the doc to get your dosage changed, and two start eating like you mean it! Possibly buy Ensure+ which is made for people who need extra support maintaining weight. Although your dosage of Keppra is currently at it's lowest recommended for partial complex seizures, combination therapy may very well save your life.

The best advice I ever got was above all to look after my quality of life over my treatment, as treatment can always be altered.

I'm sorry I rambled, I just know how frustrating it is.

Wife Blaming me for her Weight Gain? Is that Fair?

My wife and I are both in our early 40's.. My wife has always been a very curvy woman.. At the time we were married 10 years ago, she was curvy.. I would not say over weight.. About 3 years ago, she joined a gym and lost lots of weight, after about a year, she gave up the membership because it was taking to much out of her, she said she could control her weight on her own without working out... Then over the course of the next few years, she slowly gained all the weight back and more...

Last summer, around June, my wife approached me about some pill program.. The product was very expensive, and she could not afford it on her salary.. ( Nearly $100 per month for 30 pills).. She asked if I would get these pills for her to help her lose weight... I agreed, I did it not because I wanted her to lose weight, but I wanted her happy... Here is the problem... The pill program says you have to diet while you take the pills, and my wife didn't do that.. She just continued to eat.. Eat all the time, eating more than me... I never criticized her, but during the 5 months she took the pill, she never lost weight, it basicly froze her weight where she was when she started... So after the 5th month... I did not order the pills... Now she's freaking out, because she claims she has gained 20 pounds without he pills? She's attacking me on a daily basis saying that Because I discontinued the program, she is now gaining weight... The problem is, she doesn't pay for the pills, on top of not paying for them, she doesn't follow the instructions, and the pills had ZERO effect other than keeping her weight where she was... Does she have a right to blame me?

Here u go, just keep in mind, put some posters of people with nice body in ur house many places
and start loving u and ur body, watch urself naked in mirror 1ce a day, appreciate ur body and observe changes, u will see miracle happening

u shud do 15 mins jog daily, sit-ups, climbing stairs (very effective), lunges (very effective), crunches, leg raises, dance workout for flat tummy and sexi legs and butt

You can follow following diet and fitness tips for better results: -

A good tip is turn vegetarian, have 5 time meals rather.
You can have seafood also.
breakfast of cereals, milk and egg only,
lunch u can have beans on bread, dal rice, bread with baked/ boiled vegetables

have light dinner, again u can have bread and salad with gravy, pulses

avoid chicken, beef, pork, cheese, paneer, pizzas and junk food.
Avoid rice at night

learn some recipes for healthy food. You can look for alternates like fish, crab, prawns, Soya, Mushrooms etc..

You can do activities like streching, breathing exercises, yoga, running, like standing at same place u do running motion, arobics, dance, climb stairs till 5 storeys 3-4 times a day, jogging, badminton, volleyball also keep you fit
swimming is also good exercise

You can do free exercises like push-ups, sit-ups, chin-ups to stay fit

get a pair of light weight dumbells and do arm exercises

for thighs do lunges, sit-ups, stepper, multi-exercise, leg curls, leg press, jogging, climbing, climbing steps

for arms do dumbell curl, reverse dumbell curl with light weights (15-20-25 reps)

for abs do crunches, leg raises, tiwst crunches, standing twists etc.

for chest do bench press, dumbell flies, pec dec etc.

Note: I suggest light dumbells over machines. please make sure u do light weights and more reps for weight loss.
Please don't do exercise if you have cold or some illness.
