What happens to your body if you never eat fruit or vegetables?

Hello! Non fruit, vegetable, or meat eater here! As an infant my mother struggled to get me to eat even the beginning staged baby foods. I would gag, cry, and refuse to eat.By toddlerhood my mother had found a limited number of foods I would actually consume which largely consisted of gummy bears, Pringle’s, Doritos, and Cap’n Crunch. In kindergarten I began seeing many food therapists, occupational therapists, and dieticians. The consensus? If you don’t give her any other option she’ll get hungry enough to eat the food in front of her eventually. So at 5 years old I was forced to sit at the table and face a single grain of corn. I refuse to eat it and due to my persistent and spiteful demeanor at age 5 I did not eat another solid food for over six months. I survived on Ensure supplemental drinks for the first portion of it and was hospitalized for the latter half due to my low weight.Eventually my mother was able to coax me into sucking on a fruit snack until it dissolved which helped me get over the mental block, smart mama. After that my mother continued pursuing therapy for me, but allowed me to eat only what I felt comfortable with. Years of doctors visits led me to believe that I was doomed to die by the age of 20 due to cancer, malnutrition, scurvy, and a multiple of other diseases not yet known to man. However, despite my highly processed and limited diet of 9 different foods I was consistently able to pass all bloodwork testing I was put through. At the ripe age of 23 I have now done enough research to be aware that while my diet is not what’s best for my body, I will continue to grow and theive similar to my peers. There are thousands of research studies stating the ill effects of no fruits or vegetables, but a limited number of studies on how adaptable the body can become. My limited diet has allowed me to absorb the nutrients from the foods that I do eat at a more effencient rate when compared to others my age and gender. As far as your friend goes, maybe focus more on how their limited eating impacts their social and emotional well-being. I’m sure that your friend is more than aware of the potential risks of their diet, so you worrying for them likely won’t help much.

How to get healthy hair?

Don't do tight ponytails, braids, etc. Eat right.. lots of vegetables. You can take vitamins and biotin supplements. Don't scrape your scalp while washing, massage it with your finger tips. If you have very coarse hair, you can put conditioner in and not wash all of it out.

Coconut, grape seed and olive oil treatments also do wonders. Just put it in and tie your hair up loosely and you can leave it in for about 15 - 30 minutes.

As for combs, obviously don't tear your hair out. Be gentle and when you're just out of the shower, use a wide-toothed comb. Oh and don't ever go to sleep with wet hair.

Hope this helps!

Why does shampoo make my hair feel so heavy?

Maybe you're not rinsing all of it out good... It makes mine light... and only apply conditioner to the ends. ;)

I would definitely get that checked out by your doctor. Alot of stress can cause your hair to fall out.
