Can I clean the white rubber of my converse with a bleach pen?
I have found the best thing to clean mine is to use a face wipe! Bleach can sometimes yellow things that are white so I wouldn't try it. As for the laces, you can wash them yourself in the sink with just soap and water or even shampoo and they should come up nice and clean again (depending on how muddy you have got them) x
Best way to wash and bleach my converse?
Hand wash them really well, do not put them in the washing machine, because the person i got my converse from said that they were washing machine safe, i put them in there and they were messed up. You could bleach it, i guess. Here are some sites that show you how to clean your converse: http://www.ehow.com/how_5125664_clean-wh... heres something else i found written out by someone: I am a bit of a sneaker freak myself. I actually have a kit with a couple of old toothbrushes, some regular tooth paste (not tri stripe or any other coloured stuff) a little detergent, a rag and a small bucket. First, clean all the excess dirt off them with a dry brush or towel. Then fill the bucket with warm soapy water (using the detergent obviously) and give em a good going over with your toothbrush. I like to do this section by section and dry using the rag as I go. For instance I will clean the toe with the warm water and brush, then dry it with the rag before moving on to the left side, right side etc. That way the dirty water wont dry. If you have white laces you may want to take em out and soak em in warm water then wring them out. This gets them looking like new again, (no use ruining your clean sneakers with dirty laces!) umm, i think thats it... apart from that just give em a little rub down every now and then between cleans to keep em schmick. Oh yeah, and dont bother with any fancy sneaker cleaners, they are generally not worth it as they dont give you any better result than toothpaste, warm water and a little TLC. And make sure you have a sseparatepair of sports shoes for dirty work like running around and playing sports etc. I hope this helped you!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!! :D btw i LOVE white converse! :) <3 converse <3
How do I get black ink off of my converse?
The product called Orange Oil will take it out. Work it into the ink with a nail brush or toothbrush. Then wash them in the washing machine. Set them outside to dry. They will look almost as good as new. Never use bleach with the converse shoes. It turns the rubber yellow. My daughter has wore converse shoes for years & this is what she does. Hope this helps.
How do you get Orange Spray Paint off Black & White Converse Shoes?
All the cloth material on the shoes is black, but the rubber is white. So far I've used bleach on the rubber, and Nail polish on both the cloth and rubber. The paint is down to only being about half as bad as it was, but you can still tell from 20 feet away. I don't care if the black isn't perfect again, but I just don't want any orange left on the white(I know, that's probably easier said than done).
If I bleach my white converse will it turn it a ugly cream white color?
I wouldn't do that because bleach and ruined them and bleach eats and so it will make them fall apart. They have cleaners for them where you bought them at to use on them instead. You can try washing them in the washer or use dish soap and wash them at way too.
How do you bleach white Vans?
If you want them white again, don't use bleach, as it will turn them yellow. Instead, make a paste out of baking soda & peroxide. Mixing some borax & white vinegar won't hurt either, as they will neutralize odors & boost whitening. But you probably already have baking soda & peroxide laying around the house. Note: don't mix & store peroxide with white vinegar, as it creates an acid that can be fatal when inhaled. Spraying the two on something to clean won't hurt you, just be in a well-ventilated area.
How can i make my white converse WHITE AGAIN?!?
try submerging them in an oxy clean solution over night, then washing them regularly. if their is still spots on them , try using a stain remover such as SHOUT! or another spray on stain lifter. if there is skid marks on the rubber sides, put some bleach gel, which can be bought at the grocery store in the cleaning aisle near the bleaches. put some bleach gel on a warm rag and scrub the skid marks out. i have black converses and i used the "bleach on a rag" method to get skid marks and grass stains off of just the white rubber. It works really good. I hope that the oxy clean and the stain remover helps lighten the shoes.
How can I keep my Converse looking like new?
It's true that a number of people like their Converse scruffy and dirty. It's part of the reason why Converse released a new 'well-worn' version of their trainers for a more "dirt-ready" pair. But cleaning it is not hard either and one of the biggest mistake is that people think that placing a pair in the washing machine will do the job. Don't do that! You will actually damage the trainers in the process. Bleaching it is also not recommended as it can cause a yellow stain.I suggest following the guideline here: How to Clean Converse: Keep your whites shining bright
