Can I Play Latest Games With These System Specifications

What are games i can run with my specs?

I have CPU: Intel Pentium G630 Dual Core
Graphics: NVidia Quatro K2000
Windows 7
4GB RAM
x64

Now i know these are pretty bad specs, but what are some better games i can plaz. Tnx in advance :)

Does Max Payne 3 run in this system specs of laptop?

The point to ponder is, do not always believe what some tech says. Install (remember MP3 is quite huge, 25 gigs) and find out.

Anyway, here goes the minimum requirements:

1. Max Payne
*****************

Core 2 Duo E4600 2.4GHz
GeForce GT 120
2 GB
Win Xp 32
35 GB (HDD space)

So the verdict is, you barely can. The problem you will face is not exactly the processor, but the graphic processing unit (which you have an integrated one). You can run it with most of the settings in low-medium (kill shadows, anti-aliasing etc)

2. Tekken Tag Tournament - (have no personal experience with 'Tekken' series, a PC gamer here)
*******************************

You will need an 'emulator' to run non-PC games on PC/LapTop. I'm damn sure you can run *this* game with medium -high settings on your configuration

3. Tekken 5 - Same story, with emulator, you can.

4. Tekken 6 - Like MP3, you will need to kill some high-graphical options here. Again, you should be able to run this game too with an emulator.

(a simple rule that worked for me in the past is, if the game is 3 or more years older than your CPU, you should be able to play 99% of the games with a not-so bad GPU. Also remember, laptops are not made for serious gaming.)

What do these system specs mean? 2 CPU?

Alright, I was basically wondering if my laptop meets the minimum requirements to play a certain game. I meet the min requirements for ram and graphics card, but on the processor part i'm not sure. Because my laptop says "2 cpus". Anyone know if my laptop MEETS the min requirements EXCEEDS the min requirements, or is UNDER the min requirements?

My laptop specs: 2GHZ (2 CPUS)
Min requirements to play game: 2 GHz Dual Core CPU

-- I heard "2 CPUS" meanings something like it's a single processor but capable of hyper threading (dunno what that means but alright). Now whatever the case, does a "2GHZ 2-CPU" processor meet the min requirements for a game that requires 2GHZ DUAL-CORE PROCESSOR???

I have an HP laptop with the following specifications: 5th gen i7, 16BG of RAM, 4GB NVIDIA and 840m dedicated graphics. Can I play heavy games with it?

You'll notice that the rest of the answers aren't very specific.  Words like "some" and "most" are used frequently.Do you know why no one gave you a straight answer?  Because no one could.  Games have these "System Requirements" you see... and each game has different system requirements.  Different, for each game.So first, we need you to define "heavy games".  That's not some kind of industry term, where we can look at a chart to see all the games that fall under the "heavy game" system requirement list.  Also... saying that you mean games "like" Assassin's Creed, or "like" Battlefield 3, doesn't mean anything.  Why?  Because not every game you think is "like" another game, will share the same system requirements. That's why you got general answers.  Sure... those specifications will play some games.  For all we know, since you didn't provide examples, you might call Sims 3 a "heavy game"... and you should.Again.  It isn't going to do to list some games and say you mean games like those.  You need to be specific with each game you intend to purchase and play.  That way, we can look at the System Requirements for each game you are interested in, and see if they meet the system you have.That... or you could go to the System Requirement information page for each game you are interested in, and you can see for yourself if you meet specs or not.

How has the system requirements for PC/Laptop games changed throughout the years?

I have been gaming on desktop since 2011. I used a laptop for 2 years before that.My first PC had an core i5 2310 2.9 Ghz ,6 gb ddr3 ram 1333hz and GT 240 1gb graphics card.I played most of the games at 900p at normal to high except crysis series. It was good for 2 years later some of games had problems like crysis 3 which refused to run at all, except that you can play most of the games at normal settings or low resolution. My graphics card died after 5 years and i replaced with Gtx 1060 6gb amp. Now i can play most of the games at ultra settings except crysis 3, watchdogs, AC Unity and Arkham knight. While playing these games the frame rate drops to 30s and in some instances to 20s.Recently I have upgraded the system i7 7700 non k with 16 gb 2400 ddr4 ram and gtx 1060 . Now AC unity and Watch dogs doesn’t drops below 40 at ultra at 1080p but Crysis 3(still drops to 30s) and Arkham Knight(the just freezes some times for 3–4 sec, otherwise a great game) are just bad ports. So what has changed is the graphic card requirement, you have to upgrade every 3 years for most people, if you want to play every AAA game at ultra or very high.Processors if you have an i5 that is overclock-able it should be good for 5+ years and ram 8gb is minimum and 16gb is max required

How can I find games whose system requirements my PC meets?

I’m plotting it down in steps for you.STEP 1:If you don’t know your system requirements then open Run and type dxdiag and press enter.A window will open where you can see your own system requirements.STEP 2:Then click on this link Requirements TestSTEP 3:Search for a game in the search tab and then click on Can You Run ItSTEP 4:A file will get downloaded named “Detection.exe”STEP 5: Run it and after its completion it will show wether you can play the game or not and it will also show you if any driver needs to be updated.Best of luck!

Why do my games keep crashing if my PC meets the system requirements?

I can relate-I once played Morrowind on a computer that could only run it without crashing if I kept my view pointed straight down, and avoided any water areas. Minimum specs on a title are, sadly, no guarantee.Issues with computer hardware: Do other, non-game programs crash frequently? Is your hard disk nearly full?Issues with drivers/os: Have you checked for driver updates for your graphics card driver? Is your OS (windows/mac/linux) up to date? As silly as it sounds, even a small missing update to the operating system can block a game from running: MtG: Arena would not run for months until I downloaded and installed a minor Windows 10 update.Issues with overheating: When it crashes next, put your hand on the case. Is it hot? The computer may be getting too warm, which can cause issues. If you’ve ruled out 1–3, my suggestion would be to try different games, different graphical settings, to narrow down what is causing this. Game A, lowest graphic settings: Does it crash? If not, increase graphic settings. Crash? That means that the graphics setting, not the software, is the cause.Games that crash in the same spot, or have the same action triggering a crash could be caused by a bad installation. Try disabling mods, boot computer in Safe Mode, reinstalling, etc. While re-installing, keep an eye out for errors, and don’t use the computer for other tasks, as multitasking + installing software often leads to issues.Does it only happen on certain games? Google search for that game + “crash to desktop”. If a game is popular, there are probably plenty of posts about the specific issue you’re experiencing.

What happens if I don't meet the System Requirements?

I have a laptop that I want to use to play serious games, like Assassin's Creed and Skyrim, but I don't have the minimum system requirements on my laptop.
Will I be able to play the game with a bit of lag, or will it be too laggy or just refuse to play?

Can I play Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 the PC game with the following specifications?

Yes, that is fine for Ghost warrior 2. The OS requirements are:  "Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7, with the latest Service Pack". As for your other system specs, they are fine, so you shouldn't have any trouble what so ever playing the game. You can view the system requirements on the steam store page located at: Ghost Warrior 2 on Steam Though as others have suggested, you might want to upgrade your OS. While Ghost Warrior 2 will run on it, you would have a wider selection of games with a newer OS, and GW2 would still run.
