Captain Obvious is correct, the GeForce GT 610 is just a rebadged GT 520 (which was itself just a newer-generation replacement for the GT 220, with almost identical performance). Between the two, the GT 520/GT 610 is slightly better in most titles. The GDDR5 version of the Radeon HD 6450 beats the GT 520 by a small margin but that's a rare card, almost impossible to find in the USA. Because you have an Inspiron 531S (slimline) those two are pretty much the best upgrade options available.... better performing low-profile cards do exist, but 220-225W slimline power supplies cannot support them. There's another reason to go with the GeForce GT 520 or GT 610 over the Radeon HD 6450. Some really old motherboard with original PCI-E x16 slots aren't compatible with version 2.1 PCI-Express x16 cards, In those cases, only version 2.0 and earlier cards work properly. While everything was SUPPOSED to be backwards compatible, the way some power management features were implemented in version 2.1 broke things for early mobos. Card manufacturers claimed it was something not explicitly required in the PCI-E x16 spec, so it was incumbent upon motherboard manufacturers to provide a BIOS update to fix it. But with the problem affecting old/discontinued boards that were mostly OEM models made for companies like Dell & HP, in many cases no BIOS update exists. *** Update **** You may be in luck! The 531S apparently comes with a 250W PSU rather than 220W. That's enough to support a low-profile GeForce GT 430, so check prices on that card. If it's only a few dollars, it's a significant improvement.

How much ram u got? U sure u dont have a built in graphic card on ur system? My system uses a ati radeon 9550 graphics card in the pci slot. its 256mb....the more memory ur graphics card has the more less laggy ur game gets. I havent played godfather on pc but i played Mafia on pc and that game worked awesome after i got that graphic card....its kinda old though thers probably better 1s than that. Edit: Yep in that case u need a graphics card, intel graphics controllers are not really ment for games. Take a look at some affordable 1s here. http://computers.search.ebay.co.uk/nvidi...
