But for preparation of coming ones, you should use 16gb in one slot. Leave the next slot for upgrading more because no one knows what's coming in the name of games.

My CPU was a 1.7GHz i5 and it consistently ran at 80-100% usage while gaming. However my computer continues to run even though I've moved onto a much better rig.
