Can I Post Religious Articles On Yahoo

Can't post comment on Yahoo news articles, why?

Still having this problem ever since the change what, now like 3 months? I can post easily at work, with some issues, sometimes having to reload 14 times, but at home, I still only can post maybe once a week. Most of the time comments do not appear and if they do, they ask me to login to post a comment, but if I login it takes me right back to where I was asking me to login to post a comment. It's frustrating as can be and wish they'd not messed with this in the first place because it's caused nothing but trouble and crowded my screen with advertisements that take an act of Congress to go away. "Press arrow to minimize ad" yeah, until you change a page, then they come right back. Grrrrrrrr

Your Religion, Holy Book, Beliefs and Information about them Please?

I hope you mean this for good purposes. But what have I got to lose.
Seventh-Day Adventist

To name just a few of the main things we believe in: we belive in the second coming, we believe in the Trinity, father son and holy spirit, and we believe that the true day of worship is the seventh day of the week, Saturday, Sabbath.

Our Holy Book is the Holy Book, the Bible

I dunno of any specific links, www.3ABN.com, type in anything regarding seventh day adventism, i'm sure you'll find everything you need to know from that. www.VOP.com, www.adventistbookcenter.com, type in review and herald publishing, and definately look up Ellen G. White or Spirit of Prophecy.

type in history of Seventh Day Adventist Church, there is so much

our dress code is SUPPOSED to be modest, ya know, not looking like a hooker or **** hangin out, skirt hicked up to your booty. but you know no one ever follows rules to the T. but always look your best. we believe that if you can't do anything else, come as you are.

our place of worship is called the sanctuary

for us the Vatican would be like, the Conference. that is what we call it

central beliefs are stated above

men and women are equals, but if you want to get technical, we believe that women should not over rule their husbands, but work with them, as a man should work with his wife and not be a pain in the behind.

I was born into this religion, and i may not be a bible scholar but I don't plan on straying. but from what i see, it's alot more exciting to discover my religion than be born into it, because everything is new, and you soak up alot more, like a sponge

if you mean am i converted, probably not, that's is something that you have to work up to with the help of God.

yes, i am religious. but i am not fanatical

Examples of religious freedoms being taken away by government?

Here are some examples of religious discrimination supported by our government:

However, seven state constitutions (Arkansas, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas) officially include religious tests that would effectively prevent atheists from holding public office, and in some cases being a juror/witness, though these have not generally been enforced since the early nineteenth century. In 1961, the United States Supreme Court explicitly overturned the Maryland provision in the Torcaso v. Watkins decision, holding that laws requiring "a belief in the existence of God" in order to hold public office violated freedom of religion provided for by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. This decision is generally understood to also apply to witness oaths.

Let's take a simple question : Which one is greater 5 or 6?Quora : I'm not an expert, I don't even have basic knowledge about the subject but I'm still going to answer, why? Although you just want the answer but..Let me tell you a long story..I had a friend who was super-good in maths. He was always doing math. Solving puzzles, equations etc were his favorite pastime. He graduated and went on to become a great mathematician.[Insert a stock image of two friends]On a sunny day, I asked him this exact same question. He looked amused and said, “Well, it's a good question. I have thought a lot about it myself. I have done extensive research on it (which obviously I'm not going to write in this answer because as I said earlier I have no experience in doing math) I worked day and night on it. Finally, I have come to a conclusion. The answer is of course 6.”[Insert an image of a person having shocked expression]I will never forget that day. It was then I realized how smart he was.-My signatureReddit : Lol, kid learn some basic math. But the question has a serious tag so I'll tell you the answer. The answer is 6. Here are some links to get you started on math : [Insert YouTube, coursera, Khan academy links].Yahoo answers : . *The best rated answer* I have discovered a new number system in which no number is greater than the other. They are all equal.*Answer buried down* It's 6.I think that pretty much sums it up!

Human Rights - Freedom of Religion?

I applaud the question and think some of the answers irrelevant and pessimistic.

Although religious freedom leads to people making posts like the ones you find in almost every religious post it usually helps prevent massacres in the name of religion. In the USA we are free. You still get morons who cant stand that people choose to submit to the commandments but for the most part there is no religious genocide. (with many fewer examples than under religious tyranny

Religious freedom should not be equated with the absolutes in either direction (absence of religion or total religious support) to assume so, or infer so is ignorance. Religion has existed though out all forms of government revolutions. Thomas Jefferson is an example of this. He was a deist not a Christian. Let people believe how they want.

I hate when people assume that someone with faith is ignorant. I like faith. It makes me happy. Many times the most aggressive antagonists are unhappy with the idea that people find happiness in God. Get over yourselves and let us be happy. Besides if I am wrong and there is no God then i will have lived a happy life. If your wrong then you will have some accounting to do before your maker.

Do you think muslims and yahoo answers impede our freedom of speech??

Do you think that you should have your freedom of speech, but that you do not have to respect other's freedom of religion? Images of prophets are absolutely forbidden in Islam, and although we don't bother much with images of Jesus and Abraham and Adam (mainly because there are enough Jews and Christians to handle it if they wanted to) we don't accept images of Muhammad.

If you want your freedom of speech you should at least be mature enough to practice it with respect. Otherwise you just end up a loud-mouth that eventually no one will tolerate, not even people of your own religion and culture.

Why is it that people like you want to overdo your own freedoms but when it comes to the freedoms of others, you couldn't care less if you prevented them?

Do you consider scientology a religion.?

I do now...not before felt they were horrible but as I get older and understand what they are saying and doing.. I can honestly say I do feel they have really come around to the standers "we" have in our reliougious thoughts and standards.

Be what others feel it good or bad.. it is a religion

As defined in what one should be..There are those definitions which define religion in terms of a cultic organization and there are those definitions which define religions in terms of a way of life.

The core values of scientology are very impressive and are food for thought..as time grows on they do have more of "Christian" values in the last 10 years..

But I do feel that this one was started only on the bases for
L. Ron Hubbard to make his mark with this literature and to make a million by starting a religion.. but due to the fact that alot of what he said made since it fast became a way of life for some and he had a following.. As time goes by the following gets bigger and more of the core of the Christian comunity intertwines. It is completely different then it was in the 1950's

L.Ron Hubbard said it him self......"Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wants to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion"

Which ended up happening.. I am sure he didn't ever think it would be to this magnitude.. But I agree with alot of the teachings that they have.
