I was dating this guy, and he's madly in love with me. Then we broke up not to long ago and I started liking this other guy and we kissed, Now my ex is threatening to kill the new guy I like, And I know he's serious.. The guy I like is 14, so can he press charges on my ex who is 15, Before or even after he hits him ? Please help..

So in that case, you have threaten them that you will tell everyone that you had sex and that too multiple times. Indian parents are very scared of their reputations, and virginity of their girl child is like the most important thing for them, so that's your positive point. Scare them, worst case you will go to Jail. Go to jail, take bail and walk a free man. Indian law is really hard on Indian Male but thats till that male is taking the beating. But after going to Jail, nothing can touch you.It had happened with me, i was in jail in Dehradun for 2 days, but that was not compared to hell as it seems in movie. My father paid 10k per day to the Jailor, so he kept me in a protected part of the prison.Food was really really bad, place was really unhygienic, fellow people were foul mouth. My Girl agreed with her father, but after going to jail for 2 days, now they cant do anything to me. I had to write a letter of oath that i will stay away from her, i will not make any contact with her, and if it happens i have to go to jail for the same. Dont worry about me, its not a mark on my career, its still India, anything can happen here.

Going through someone else's mail is a federal offense. If you can prove that he was going through your mailbox to commit a crime, he can get years in federal prison. You can also sue them. Next time he comes by, copy down the plate number and take pictures if you want to for evidence. If this happened to me I would be shooting nerf guns and stuff at him (to make sure he doesn't try to do it again). .

Conor is a fighter turned businessman while Khabib is a fighter.like any smart businessman Conor knows he will gain nothing out of suing Khabib team mates. On the other hand, inspite of all the drama that followed UFC 229 and his loss, Conor and his Agent knows very well that a future rematch Vs Khabib means more $$$ in Conors bank account, So why look like a bitter loser and go to court when he can make more money out of a rematch that is def going to break PPV records.That rematch def won’t need lots of hype material and trash talk since Khabib and Co have done the promotion already right after the end of UFC 229 and every MMA fan have seen the drama and meele that followed UFC 229 .As for the trash-talk and insults and what happened afterward I totaly understand where Khabib and his crew are coming from and I totaly agree that Conor and his crew crossed all the lines. Family honour and religion is not something to mess with in certain parts of the world, yet Conors reaction after the fight shows that all the trash-talking was just business to him and that he is not taking things personaly, its just Business.Conor lives by the mantra “ If you are good at something, never do it for free”. Im scared, should i press charges on the guy ?
So while walking to school Some guy attacked me and took my phone . The school security caught the guy and i got my phone back . this all happened like 2 weeks ago . it also happened to my friends and some other people but they never caught the guy until now . and now today i got a phone call and they said he was in juvenile detention and if i wanted to see this case go forward . I told them im not sure . I want to but at the same time im scared , what if he goes after me when he gets out ? and im afraid if i get a restraining order on him that hes still gonna go after me . what dshould i do ??? and the guy and me go to high school the same one .
Can you press charges against someone for abuse if you were drunk when the incident happened?
I know two people who got in a fight. one was drunk and the other one wasnt. the drunk one came at the other guy first and when he did, the other guy fought back and broke his arm. the drunk guy wants to press charges. i heard that if you are drunk when something like that happens, then your testimony doesn't count in court. does this also mean that you can't press charges if you were drunk when it happened? esp if the the other guy wasn't and only fought back as self defense?

The answer is YES, YES, AND YES! Abuse is abuse, I do not care what gender you are. The only reason statistics are so low for male victims of domestic violence is because they don't report it enough out of shame. And that alone is shameful. I chose to take 12 weeks of domestic violence classes after I was brutally strangled and beaten by my ex (who served prison time for it). I was introduced to a whole new world of the dynamics of DV. Some women feel that they can hit, slap, throw stuff at, and act foolish because they are women. This is only teaching them and society that their actions are acceptable, which they are not. Abuse is abuse. Report it! End the violence.
