Can I Put 3 Eggs In My Brownie Mix

Can i just skip the eggs in the brownie mix?

If you have any soy flour in the house, use 1 heaping tbsp soy flour and one tbsp water.

It sounds insane, but it really, really works. You won't be able to tell a difference, I promise!!

Other options: (I haven't tested these though)

Per egg:

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

OR
1/2 teaspoon baking powder plus 1 table-
spoon vinegar plus 1 tablespoon liquid (for baking
use only-will help your brownies rise)

Honestly, I suggest to use a substitution and just go for it- if brownies are a bit more moist and dense, they are still incredibly delicious. Mixes are really forgiving anyways. If there is no soy flour in the house, I'd say use the second substitution, because it will make your brownies rise :)

Good luck and happy baking!

I have brownie mix but no eggs, what is the best substitute for the eggs?

Okay let's tackle this question, I did some research and this is what I found. The Purpose of Eggs in baking.EGGS AS BINDERSIf eggs are binders in a recipe, it can be replaced with Arrowroot, Soy Lecithin, Flax-seed Mix, Pureed Fruits or Vegetables, Silken Tofu, Unflavored Vegetarian Gelatin Powder (agar agar). The ratio is, for every egg replaced, 1/4 cup of the substitute is used.EGGS AS LEAVENING AGENTSIf eggs are leavening agents, Buttermilk, Yogurt, Baking Soda, Commercial Egg Replacement Powder such as Ener-G can be used.EGGS FOR MOISTUREIf eggs are added for moisture, Fruit Juice, Milk, Water or Pureed Fruit can be used. The most common one for this is unsweetened applesauce.Egg Substitute in BrowniesEggs are mostly used in brownies as a binding agent. Some of the best substitutes for eggs in brownies will be 1/4th of a cup of pureed fruit (applesauce recipe, mashed bananas, pureed prune), pureed silken tofu, yogurt/buttermilk and flax egg.Check here for a list of eggless brownie recipes.Hope this is helpful.

I put too much water in the brownies...?

you may have to toss it, but heck, why not try adding some flour and see what happens? you can also add a pinch or two of baking SODA, that will help it rise up a bit (after the flour)
taste it then.
do you have cocao or even hot chocolate mix? you can try adding some of that, tasting as you go.
you don't want it soupy tho, but rather thick, like a bowl of elmers glue thick.
you can also just fill up the baking pan (after the flour) just like 1/2 inch thick so it cooks more thoroughly.
DO you have a box of chocolate cake mix? you can add a bit of that, but do the math regarding liquids. you've already added 3/4 cup MORE of water/liquid than was needed, so maybe DON'T add any more water LOL. now your recipe will be doubled. so you'll need more pans (and if you add the cake mix, don't do the flour/baking soda/hot chocolate mix thing)
i would think that even any other flavor of cake mix might make this an interesting dish too LOL
here's something else you can do:
if you have like a yellow or white cake mix, make that ACCORDING TO PACKAGE DIRECTIONS lololol, and then pour into cake pan. then take your brownie soup and drizzle over the top. then take a knife and make a design with the brownie soup. that's kind of cool
if it doesn't work, well, then start all over with another brownie mix i guess, and i bet from now on, you'll look at that CUP and be careful
regardless of what you do, grease and then flour your pan(s)

Can you use mayo instead of an egg for a brownie mix?

Yes. I was making cornbread one night and realized that I did not have any eggs. Then I remembered that mayo is basically oil and egg. So, I used mayo as a substitute and it was moist and absolutely delicious. Now, keep in mind the oil in the mayo when you make your brownies. If your recipe calls for a 1/2 cup of oil, use a 1/2 cup of the mayo instead. That should cover your eggs as well. Try it and see. You learn by experience.

What to use instead of eggs in brownies?

I forgot to buy eggs for some brownies i plan on making tonight. Since its new years eve hardly anywhere close is open so I am not driving out to get some. Any ideas what to use instead?

I have no eggs... Need to make brownies from baker's corner brownie mix.?

My sister needs some brownies for tomorrow and it's late at night and I realized there is no eggs. It's a standard baker's corner brownie box.
I was going to use banana. the recipe calls for 2/3 veg oil, 1/4 cup of water and two large eggs.
Should I just mash up one banana? or do I need extra ingredient too to smooth it over because I only have one chance.

What can I add to my Betty Crocker Brownie Mix?

The following are things I've added to brownies with good results (or at least, ones I've liked): walnuts, chocolate chips, dried sour cherries, chopped strawberries, raisins, pecans. If there are such things as peanut butter chips, I think those would be good, or maybe a tablespoon of plain peanuts and a tablespoon of Reese's pieces. You could also add a shot of orange liqueur and some grated orange peel, or a shot of coffee for more "grown up" brownies.
