Can I Put A Tv Screen Protector On My Convertible Window

Can you put window scoops on a convertible?

they would probably get knocked off..

Why do the British use the word "windscreen" instead of "windshield"? Were there metal screens on cars before glass windshields but the term windscreen stuck?

Here is an incomplete list of the definitions of ‘screen’ from Merriam-Webster Dictionary:1. : a protective or ornamental device (such as a movable partition) shielding an area from heat or drafts or from view2. something that shelters, protects, or hides: such asa : a growth or stand of trees, shrubs, or plantsb : a protective formation of troops, ships, or planesc : something that covers or disguises the true nature (as of an activity or feeling) his geniality is just a screen3. a : a perforated plate or cylinder or a meshed wire or cloth fabric usually mounted and used to separate coarser from finer partsAs you can see the term ‘screen’ means much more than a metal mesh. The reason the metal mesh is called a screen is because it screens out particles from an area. A windscreen will screen people from the wind just as a windshield will shield people from the wind.

Can you return an opened box TV to Walmart?

Yes, you can. Wal-Mart's policy is 90 days with receipt on most merchandise. Some electronics have a 15 day window (typically anything with memory, like laptops and video game consoles), so if it was a smart TV you may have the shorter time frame.Returns over $50 can be denied without a receipt. If approved, you would only get store credit.Regardless, the item being opened does not affect your ability to return it. They will likely call an electronics associate to inspect the item to make sure it is all there, and you aren't keeping any pieces from the tv. Just put everything back in the box (even the manual, remote batteries, etc.) and you'll be ok to return it.

I was told that Americans not locking their cars is not a movie thing, but actually a real cultural thing. Is this true?

If this is true, I think the Americans are onto something here.I'm Canadian, live in Canada, drive a 2007 Pontiac GP GXP worth a mere $13000 cdn. Car snobs can tune out.I don't care if it gets stolen altogether, it's just a car. We can buy another one, cash, because we buy used vehicles. We never keep anything valuable in our cars, and even spare change is out of sight. Trailer trash will think nothing of smashing a window for a couple cups of coffee so I keep the vehicles clean, empty of all valuables and clutter free. This was a lesson learned when I had another vehicle broken into many years ago (during winter) while out of town with it. I left a portable CB radio in plain sight on the seat. What a cold, pain in the ass drive home that was. We just wanted to go home after a Christmas party and had to deal with police, and duct tape and cardboard flapping in the wind. Then getting the window replaced the following week. It was my fault - my wife said so - all the way home. But she was right. Now when I go out I sometimes leave windows and roof wide open and doors locked. Thieves can easily reach in for some loose change without me having to deal with the insurance company. And if by chance they reach in and unlock the door, the factory alarm blares the horn, flashes the lights and imobilizes the engine(so GM says). Other times we close the windows and leave the doors unlocked. Depends on the situation. When the car is unattended for days on end at a train station or airport I tend to close up and lock everything tight. Then depend on insurance coverage if something happens. But most of all no valuables in the car, absolutely no clutter and all spare change out of sight. Also makes for a nice drive with no rattles. If it's a Porsche, BMW, Merc or Chev it's just a car. But dealing with broken glass on any vehicle when all you want to do is go home really, really sucks.
