Medicaid application question- what to say on forms when you live with boyfriend but he doen't support you?
I'm a 28yo ft student that hasn't made a dime since Jan. I'm taking to way many credit hours to work. I got a little fin. aid and had to take out a student loan. I haven't even gotten the check yet, so I'm dead broke and in debt. It's not such a big deal, I've been broke before, I can do it again. The problem is, I need health and dental insurance. Every independent plan including student plans cost atleast $100 a month, I can't afford that. I've been told I would qualify for medicaid and it's free. But I know they will ask about who I live with and how much he makes. My boyfriend makes good money, but he doesn't support me. I haven't been paying rent but once I get that check he wants me to pay atleast a little. So, what do I say on the forms? If I say I do pay rent, will he have to mention that when he files his taxes? If I say I don't pay, will they he supports me and want to include his income? I truly am broke, can't work, am not being supported and need insurance. what do I say?

Write the contacts of two persons (of your close acquaintances, or friends, relatives, people who stay next to your home), they should reside in the same city/town where you reside. Don’t forget, they cannot be from other cities/towns. This is asked because police go to their place ask for your details and verify (They do go for sure, at-least to one reference, so be careful in giving the references). My father is a good judge of character and took a chance. The man said - “sir, I don’t have much, I live in the bush, I don’t drink and I don’t do drugs, all I want is some clean work clothes and to shower. I will work hard.”My father hired him and it turns out that this “bush man” was an amazing worker. My father ended up selling the business in the end, and so we don’t know what happened to him, but he worked relentlessly several years without fail. We don’t know his story and we didn’t care - he was just a guy who needed to belong, have purpose and basic human needs met. My dad still wonders from time to time and talks about him with great respect.
I have submitted the passport application form online. I live in a village so I have no house number or a street name. I have given a nearby street name which my voter card does not contain. Will it create a problem since I have given a street name which is not written in the address part of my voter card?
Hi there,Thanks for the A2A ! I don’t know about others, but it (providing an address line which is not mentioned in my address proof) became an issue in my friend’s case. During police verification, he had to get the address proof document signed by someone in the locality which was mentioned in the application, that they know him well and he has been staying at the residence mentioned for more than a year.So, as long as you have someone in the other street, who could identify you, I don’t think, it’s a problem.All the best !
Can I live in an office suite?
I know there are areas that are zoned for commercial, and residential, and an office suite is the former. As far as I know the office would not be listed as a work\live office but strictly commercial. For showers i would just take them at the gym, and for the kitchen i could just use a microwave, and a george foreman or induction hotplate out of the back. The rent for one of these suites is more cheap than an apartment, and with an apartment i would be paying extra for entryways,hallways,lawn care etc. Im pretty sure this is illegal, but if the landlord happened to catch on what would the punishment be like? Also i would run some type of business in the space too. I would also make sure the office didnt look like i was living in there either. I would probably find an office suite more in a strip type area so cleaning crews, security, etc would not be an issue. So what would my risk of being caught be like. Oh and I live in Texas, but I think the ordinance varies from city to city.

There is a rule in Indian passport application that you should apply from the address where you are staying/residing since last 1 year.In your case you are staying in Pune since last 3 years so put address of Pune and apply in Pune passport office. Else adverse report will be generated by Police and you may have to pay fine for that. So put Pune address.Now problem you will face is address proof of Pune. If you are staying on rent, then generate rent agreement and NOC with your house owner. Use these documents to update your address on Bank passbook or postpaid mobile bill. Then use this bank passbook or postpaid mobile bill as current/present address proof in passport office. What happens after rejection of passport application after police verification?
The main reasons for rejection are like, Police case registered, incomplete documents submitted ,your data not present in govt system, falsely rejected by police if you don't bribe etc.If your application got rejected then visit RPO & ask them the reason. If you made a false statement then pay fine & close file & if its there mistake then draw their attention & it will be cleared.
