Corrupt hard drive - How can I recover files??
My hard drive seemed to mess up on me. I couldn't use it in my computer anymore. I removed it and put it into my other computer as the Slave. XP ran the scandisk thing and fixed/deleted/restored many files etc etc. When I'm at my Computer, the hard drive shows up, but I can't access it. It's corrupted or something. If it was the System drive then you are going to have to remove it and create a new System drive. If it was an external DATA drive, then you only need to make sure that you have enough blank space on another drive for the missing data to be written.Download and install a utility like Recuva.
