Can I Regain My Skins Elasticity After Short Term Meth Use Or Have I Caused Permanent Damage

Could the brain heal after damage?

Brains are amazingly "plastic" meaning they can heal and adjust in ways that doctors did not used to think possible. But, "complete healing" can take longer than however much life a person has left. So, the less damage, and the younger a person is when they stop doing drugs, the more likely they are to heal in a meaningful way.Brains, like muscles, will not build up just through time.  Brains build up through use.  If you want a brain that works the way you want it to, you have to task it with tasks that are in line with the kind of brain you want to have. That means, that just stopping drugs will not magically make a brain not crave them any longer.  A person has to do serious work toward creating the life they really want, and the brain will build up toward that, if it does the right exercises.Rarely are those "exercises" the kind of thing you find on an app.  It usually means therapy, physical exercise (which has proven to help the brain maintain improvements in learning), working on things that force the brain to work in a way one wants (like meditating, making art, solving puzzles, writing stories, doing math, whatever), and generally doing what it takes to live as close to the kind of life you want to live.Because the brain does not care too much what we wish--it responds to what we actually do, actually think about, actually work on.I'm not a doctor.  Just someone who recovered from brain damage--and continue to work on recovering, and improving my brain, every day.

How do I remove acne scars?

I got rid of my acne scars with a combination of home treatments, peels and lasers. I had severe cystic acne and my scars were severe. I had hyper pigmentation and indented or box scars.Chemcial peels - The first chemical peel (glycolic acid ) made the most difference to my face. The hyper pigmentation disappeared and it looked clearer. The difference in the face with subsequent peels was much less. Chemical peels work for pigmentation and flat brown or red marks.Subcision - I had one session of this. I think this actually helps but my procedure was done by a competent but very very lazy doctor. Subcision works for indented scars and ice pick scars. This involved cutting the scar tissue that is stuck to the lower layers. This is done under local anesthesia. After waiting around with numbing cream on my face for an hour she spent exactly 5 minutes or less on my face. The normal procedure takes 1/2 an hour. Please find a good doctor.Lasers - I had 6 sessions of laser. I would say improvement was 40%. These are done at 2–3 week intervals. Actually even 4 week intervals are good.Face Masks - I started using face masks after I had completed my laser treatments. They require some patience and take about 2 months to work but they do. Take one tablespoon raw honey, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and rosehip oil. Mix all and apply to your face. Leave it on for an hour or more.Exfoliation - Regular exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells and smoothen your face.Vitamin C serum - Vitamin C helps in repairing damaged skin. I made one using crushed Vitamin C tablets but it’s better to buy a good serum.Rosehip Oil - A drop of rosehip oil applied to your face after washing helps with scarring. This article helps you find a good clinic for laser treatments. https://www.yourbeautychronicles...

What is a blown vein?

A blown vein is slang for a vein that has been ruptured or torn by a syringe needle or IV drip needle that has gone entirely through a vein or has torn the vein, instead of neatly entering it. A vein can also be "blown" when a small vein or a blocked vein is accessed, and the volume of drug that is pushed is too large for the vein to handle. In this case, the vein can literally explode like an overfilled balloon. Often, a blown vein will lead to pain from the injected drug extravasating into surrounding tissue. Many extravasated medications and illicit drugs can cause major local tissue necrosis, abscesses, and deep open wounds that may expose blood vessels, fatty tissue, nerves, tendons or ligaments, muscle bundles, and even underlying bone, especially in the hands and feet. These wounds must be attended to by physicians and wound care professionals, to ensure proper healing, debridement of dead tissue, and avoidance of severe infections, osteomyelitis, and even septicemia. The latter two infections are very dangerous, with death a distinct possibility.I would never condone IV drug abuse, but if a person is using the IV route to inject opioids, cocaine, methamphetamine, or other psychoactive drugs, it is imperative not to force the drug into a vein that does not seem stable. At any sign of infiltration outside of the vein, the person who is injecting must stop injecting and either find another site or inject deep IM. Again, this is purely in the interest of harm reduction. IV drug abuse is unbelievably dangerous and will either kill the user or will destroy their lives and their families, guaranteed. Don't try it, even once.
