Why don't you just create an "Extra Email Address" for your existing account, that's what I did. Yahoo! Mail lets you create one extra email address and you use it exactly like your primary address, and get messages sent to both addresses delivered to one Inbox. An extra email address is a second Yahoo! Mail Address that you can use with your existing Yahoo! Mail account. It is NOT a separate Yahoo! ID, or a separate Mail account. You can use both your primary mail address and your Extra Email Address to send messages from and receive messages at the same mail account. An "Extra Email Address" comes in handy if you have an existing mail address that is no longer suitable, that you don't like or don't want to use any more, or if you just sometimes have a need for a secondary address, but don't want to deal with the hassle of logging into and checking into multiple mail accounts. yes, there are two seperate accounts and they are treated differently. Using their widget though you can transfer all of the information from your old account to your new one. You can also choose to send a message to everyone in your contacts that will notify them of your new email address.
