All down jackets leak some down. There are a few of reasons.The type of down/feather mix. More feathers means more more feather tips to poke through the fabric and especially very thin fabrics used. Feathers are more robust than down. Cheaper jackets have more feathers.The fill power of the down. Lower fill power means lower quality down + more feathers. More apt to poke through than very sexy high fill power down.Depending on the construction of the jacket it can leak between the seams, especially if the jacket is not baffled. Usually happens more with less well built jackets. Good Downproof fabric is dense and tightly woven and fewer pores for feathers to slip out of.The type of baffles (down pockets) can affect it. More leakage when the outer layer is seen through to the inner lining instead of having a box baffle (a self-contained pocket).Down can leak out at places where the jacket is stitched especially if the sewing is done with too big of a needle than required; careless sewing resulting in needle holes. Needles can deflect during seeing making bigger holes so there is a gap around the thread.The type of thread (rougher) used in sewing means there can be little gaps between fabric and thread for down to leak out.If it is losing tons of down, see if you can return it if the manufacturer has a guarantee.Over time, Down settles and gets less lofty and also breaks down to dust which can leak out. Fluff the jacket on a cool dryer cycle. More fluffy down is lest apt to leak.

Why are Superdry t-shirts so costly?

Superdry T-shirts are costly depending on the brand of them (Premium, Copper Label, Orange Label etc.)Some are between £10–15 which isn't bad.However the reason for the increased price is because Superdry provide a standard of quality that is unmatched on the high street. Also the Company are ethical, they pay their workers, instore and in factories a decent pay. Superdry are uninvolved in scandals regarding the production of their clothes,The company pay their store workers a minimum of £7.20/hour, so overall the added price is you paying for the brand and for the service you get when you enter a Superdry store, but also the vast difference in quality. When I compare the quality of a Superdry tee and a Primark tee, there is a vast difference - colour, material, stitching, thickness etc.I'd say overall Superdry can be reasonably priced if you are willing to accept the extra cost in return for premium service by their staff, and the sheer quality of their clothes.Hope this helps.

Are The North Face jackets worth their price and why are or why are they not?

North Face jackets are reasonably good, but they are very expensive. Their store prices are daylight robbery and I would not recommend buying their items from a North Face store. Then again, Patagonia, which is an all-around stronger brand with better quality and reputation, is sometimes even more expensive in store. But TNF is also increasingly a favorite for casual (not just wintersports) fashion among rich college kids and their ilk, so the prices are particularly outrageous.For the record, Arc'teryx is the absolute best, but it is also the Ferrari of winter clothing. I could never afford any of their clothing unless I worked as an investment banker or venture capitalist. I don't think you need an Arc'teryx unless you are a ski instructor and/or live in Canada (aside: up until recently, Arc'teryx was manufactured exclusively in Canada, but they eventually moved to China just like everybody else).I am originally from an equatorial climate, so I have a low threshold for cold. I have several pieces of unbranded winter clothing, but somehow they have not kept the chill out as well as the well known winter brands. I also love skiing and the winter outdoors, which makes me additionally biased towards branded winterwear. Are the products sold online on websites like Myntra and Jabong original?

I just experienced the worst experience with Jabong. Till date I was a fan of Jabong, but all that has vaporised in just 2 days.I received a fake product of Nike Air Max Invigor from Jabong. How did I make our the fake product?Original box was missing. But thought that could be because for some reason the box would have been damaged and they provided better service (Was a Jabong fan).Comfort level: I wore the shoes. Wasn’t any different then my 2 years old broken Nike shoes. But thought maybe Nike shoes remain same even after tearing of the sole when checking wearing comfort. (Was a Jabong fan)Surfed internet to check how to find a fake Nike Shoes pair. Found that not delivering the Nike box is strong proof of fake product. Then I checked further that SKU number on the shoes must match the one on the Nike box. There was no SKU number of Nike from Jabong product (fake) in my case.It was difficult to digest that Jabong would do such a thing. I called them. The guy straightaway said that if I think the product is fake then return it. That is the worst reply any service centre can give in less than a minute of doubting their credibility. Still I said I want to trust that this is original. So I sent an email with the image of my product. And mentioned it clearly that if they can show me the original box of Nike with the SKU number, then I will match that with the one on my Shoes and trust that it is original.They called me after 2 days. Within 5 minutes he said the same that return the product if I think that the product is fake - because he can give me neither the SKU number nor the Box image as that was in warehouse and he can’t get it from there.If I were being challenged for my credibility, I would go to end of the world to get the proofs when I am running some business. Business is all about credibility. Jabong lost its credibility.Finally, I even asked if they can give me the Nike box for another order I place, he said he can’t guarantee that. That made it certain that not all of the Jabong products are genuine.Best advice: Do not buy Nike products with 30% or more discount.
