Can i return clothing to H&M with no price tag but a receipt?
I recently bought a shirt from H&M which doesnt fit, but me being me, removed the tag. I still have the receipt and the tag for the item of clothing. Will i be able to get refunded, or will i need to exchang it for somthing else?
What happens to the used clothing items you return to the store? Are they put back for sale?
We asses the quality of the returned item.If it’s basically just been in the shopping bag you took it out of the store in, no problem. It gets put back out on the floor.If you’ve removed the tag but it’s otherwise in perfectly good condition, we will re-tag it. Many retail stores have a small tagging gun with a needle point that can reinsert the plastic piece that holds a tag. It may look *slightly* different but will be put back out on the floor.If it’s clear you have washed it (yes, we can tell), worn it out (yes, we can tell), or that you have done anything that noticeably alters the condition of the garment—including stains, rips, or the smell of body odor that some people are apparently dizzyingly unaware of—we will mark the item as damaged and send it away. Individual brands will treat their damaged returns differently, but it may be donated (rare), thrown away (likely), or completely incinerated (to preserve “brand value”).
Can u return clothing without the price tag on it?
depends on the store and how big it is. i work at a small clothing store and we let people return stuff if they have the receipt and theres no tag, or if they have the tag but its not on the clothing coz we can just re-attach it. Just call and ask them before you go in, and if theres nothing wrong with the top im sure they'll let....try and get the manager to serve u!!
Can I return clothes to old navy with out tags or a reciepts. They were a gift"?
Lots of mixed answers here. Since I work at Old Navy I'll clear this up for you. Since they were a gift, and you dont have an original receipt or a gift receipt, your only option is to return the items for the Current Selling Price and your store credit is provided on a Merchandise Certificate by MAIL. No exchanges are allowed on the same day of your return (unless you actually pay for the new items -- you cannot apply the return towards your new purchase right away - you have to wait 7-10 days for the Merch. Cert.) It doesnt matter if the tags are on the items or not. There are small sewn-in tags on every item that the cashier can use to determine the current selling price.
Can you return clothes to Forever 21 without the tags?
I bought this shirt at Forever 21 yesterday and i don't like it so i wanna return it but i ripped off the tags and threw it away. I still have the receipt though. Can i still return it and get store credit or something?

It depends upon the store. Usually they will give you store credit for the price of that item now (or the sale price if it was on sale within the last couple of weeks) or allow you to exchange for the lesser amount if it went on sale. Some stores will make no exceptions though, if you bought them from one of these ask for a manager. I worked for a store where you had 10 days to exchange regular priced merchandise only, but we would make exceptions if customers asked and the item could be resold.

At a store like L0uis Vuitton on 5th ave in NYC you can bet your ass not only all of this will be present but a salesperson will be hawking you as well.Some stores will let you return only for store credit. Some will require a receipt or no return, some with a receipt only store credit.Now, depending on the store again, the purchase you make has a barcode which has a number and other info like price attached to it.So, if they were really up on their “shrink” prevention (loss of goods) they might say this item does not match the item on the receipt, yet give you the benefit of the doubt being that you are presenting a receipt. You could make up some lame excuse like it was a gift.HOWEVER, your plan is foiled there again, by most stores these days only offering gift cards or store credit for returns with receipt. A high end store having much less, higher priced stuff, will know if a stolen item is brought back in and you will be detained.A chain department store is far more lax and some may give a certain amount max back in cash if you have a receipt. Like no more than $20.00I have heard and this is a completely different product type, of people stealing higher ticket items like say a chainsaw, from one Home Depot and returning it for cash at another.I suggest you just pay for the shirt or go to Salvation Army and see if you can get something vintage that’s even cooler. Will the Gap let you return/exchange clothing if you don't have receipt and tags?
I bought a pair of jeans less than 30 days ago from the Gap, can I return/exchange them if I don't have the receipt or tags? I did purchase the item with my credit card so they should have that on file.
Can I return a Nike product to store without original tag attached?
I recently bought a pair of flip flops but after getting home I realized that they were actually one size too big. I have the box, receipt, and tag, but the tag itself is no longer attached to the footwear. Would they still take it for exchange? I have everything just that tag is not attached.
