Looking to find out Suzuki Year model?
I believe it is a 185 cc TS185 enduro year 1979 http://www.suzukicycles.org/TS-TC-series... http://www.suzukicycles.org/photos/TS/TS... Does that look like it? I can't find a vin decoder for pre 1980 bikes because nowadays vins are 17 digits long so I kinda had to make a guess lol.
How do I find the model year of a Trek bike?

EDIT To use these sites, you don't need an exact model year in mind, the writing on the frame & the colour of the bike should be enough to work with. It should be quite easy to match the frame colour to the year, since they seem to be different colours every year.. If it’s an older Trek use the link Jim Edgar posted below. Early Trek bicycles were extremely well documented unless they were a custom build. If it doesn’t fit the format it may have been a custom build. The builder used what ever number scheme he wanted on a custom build or many times no numbers at all.

an F4 was also referred to as "Sidewinder" which was a 250cc "enduro" (referred to as dual sport today) produced in 1968-1970 ... just going by the F4 designation in both the frame & engine coding... some parts still available http://www.powersportspro.com/pages/part... (this is for the 1968)

VIN Number Direct Bikes?

For all motorcycles (unicorn,shine etc) , the number is engraved on the head pipe i.e. the part of the frame on which front handle and steering is mounted.Number is found in highlighted area.For scooters, the number is found on the left underside of the floorboard.
