Can I Send Encripted Messages Through Facebook Privacy

Is police able to read Facebook messages?

Its important to be clear what you mean by “messages”.1/ Information “messages?” you post on Facebook are readable according to the rules you place on them. In most jurisdictions (certainly in Europe) the police have no right to try to get round your privacy settings2/ The police can apply to FB to access anything that is posted on your account. They have to justify this, but if successful, they can get access to anything FB itself has on their servers.3/ No-one, the police, or even FB itself can recover FB Messenger messages that are encrypted. HOWEVER, you have to choose to encrypt Messenger messages. If you don't, messages then come under 1 and 2 above.

How secure is Facebook Messenger?

It depends what you mean by saying secure.- If you mean all your messages are properly kept on company’s server then yes, Facebook claims they’re secure. However, the scandal they have recently faced contradicts to their privacy statement.-If you mean nobody has access to your data then Facebook is not the app you’re looking for. You can switch to messengers that use serverless concept and don’t store your communication history on any server. It means the company itself doesn’t have access to your messages. An example of such an app is Zangi Safe Messenger.

If I send a private message on Messenger, is it truly private?

Facebook says that messenger conversation are encrypted with same security protocols as banking apps. Though, it’s not end-to-end encrypted. Facebook uses additional security measures to prevents spamming and malware distribution. So answer to your question is, No messenger conversations are not fully private. But if you use “Secret Conversation” feature of messenger, then your chats will be end-to-end encrypted, the same encryption whatsapp uses. Thus no one, not even Facebook team can see what you sending.

How do you spy on someone cell phone text message?

How Do You Intercept a Text Message?
Turn your cell phone into a spy gadget.

Turn your own cell phone into a surveillance gadget. There are a few ways to do this. One method, phone cloning, lets you intercept incoming messages and send outgoing ones as if your phone were the original. If both phones are near the same broadcast tower, you can also listen in on calls. To clone a phone, you have to make a copy of its SIM card, which stores the phone's identifying information. This requires a SIM reader that can read the card's unique cryptographic key and transfer it to another phone. (Warning: This is super illegal, but there are still sites that show you how.) The problem with cloning is that it only lets you intercept messages sent to one phone number. Plus, you need physical access to the target phone to make it work—something Wal-Mart's technician probably didn't have.

It's also possible to intercept unencrypted or poorly encrypted messages directly as they're broadcast over cellular channels. (If the network uses sophisticated encryption, you might be out of luck.) To steal messages with your phone, you would need to upload illegal "firmware" onto your phone. This essentially turns your phone into a radio and allows it to pick up all the texts broadcast on a given channel—instead of limiting you to the ones addressed to you. You'd also need to know the network for the target phone—Verizon, Cingular, T-Mobile, etc.—and you'd have to make sure that both your phone and the target are within range of the same base station. This method isn't too expensive since you don't need much more than a computer, a phone, and some firmware that any serious techie could find online for free.

Are WhatsApp messages really private?

End to end encryption is not everything. The Signal Protocol is a non-federated cryptographic protocol that provides end-to-end encryption for instant messaging conversations. — WikipediaEnd-to-end encryption ensures that your message is turned into a secret message by its original sender, then only decoded by its final recipient. So now you may think chatting in WhatsApp is completely safe. No it's not.WhatsApp will still keep records of its users’ metadata. This means that even though the contents of a message cannot be accessed by anyone including WhatsApp itself, the phone numbers involved in the exchange, as well as the timestamps on the messages, are still being stored on the company’s servers. This means that if a court orders WhatsApp to share all the info it has on a particular user, the amount of metadata the company would be handing over would most likely be sufficient to create a profile and draw some strong conclusions. So Whatsapp don't know what you texted someone but it knows whom you talked with and when.Second problem- Facebook bought Whatsapp.Combining your Whatsapp metadata with your Facebook, they can create your more accurate profile. And then it could proceed to serve you some targeted ads with a side of invasion of privacy. So what now?If you're really concerned about your privacy (and that's a really good thing. There are still many people be like 'I am not terrorist why should I care about it so much'. Arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say) you can download Signal Messenger .The only data Signal retains is the phone number you register with and when you last logged into their server. That is it.It doesn’t even record the hour, minute, or second — only the day.If you’re feeling mischievous, Signal even has disappearing messages. And Signal is free. Really free. Meaning that they aren’t trying to turn your eyeballs into a product for advertisers like Facebook or Google want to do with their messaging apps. You can donate to Signal here.

How to hack into facebook account?

Of course it's possible. Hacking is an art form, not a game. The fact that you're asking how to do is a very clear indication that you'll never be able to do it.

My school hacked into my Facebook account. Isn't this illegal?

They printed out a picture of one of my messages and gave it to my mom. Then one of my close friends was talking to the assistant principal in his office and when she looked on his desk she said it looked like he had a stack of papers that were printed out screenshots of my facebook messages with my name circled. Is this illegal? Unless maybe my mom gave them permission but im pretty sure it would be pointless to have them go through my messages if they have my password right now since they made me change it cause im grounded. I asked this before and people were saying that I should have privacy settings on. You don't understand. When I say Facebook messages, I mean literally messages. Like personal messages sent to an inbox to and from other people.

Why are we not able to send a personal message on WhatsApp to someone whose privacy is been set to end to end encryption? Is there any other way to send the message? If yes, kindly tell me?

End to end encryption is used to secure chats by encrypting so that anyone other than sender and receiver will not be able to snoop on private chats. If you're using WhatsApp then you also have end to end encryption by default like everyone else using WhatsApp and its a permanent feature and can't be turned off.Encryption is not playing any role in sending or receiving chat msgs. Practically there is no setting to stop someone from sending msg to anyone in world as long as sender has phone number of reciever so all one can do to stop recieving msgs is to block the sender. In your case it seems that person you are sending msg has blocked you. You can try any other phone no. to send an important msg to that person but he'll block that no. again if he wants.
