Can I Sew Yahoo For Deleting A Question I Asked

How do you delete old yahoo! questions?

You can only delete questions that you asked or answers that you've given BEFORE the question is resolved or put into voting. If a "best answer" has been chosen or it's "in voting" then only Yahoo can delete them. To delete an answer before the question is in voting or resolved, people just click the "delete" word that appears in small type right under their answer.

To delete a question, you click on the toolbar below the question on the pencil icon. However, you lost 5 pts. when you asked the question and you don't get the 5 pts. back.

You delete on answers by clicking back on the question that you answered, scrolling down to your answer and clicking the “delete” link that shows under your answer with other options such as “Edit.”

However, if you choose a "best answer" then you get 3 pts. back. And, sorry, I don't know a way to “clean up” your Q&A. You can add information, such as explaining what you meant if you had typos by adding a comment to a resolved question, but you can't delete. To add information, again, you click on the pencil icon (if it's not resolved) or click on the word comments under the answer if it's resolved.

ONCE A QUESTION IS IN VOTING OR RESOLVED, only Yahoo can delete the question or answers and, generally, they only delete something for a violation of the rules. You're stuck with it in your profile. Unfortunately, Yahoo doesn't warn you about that (or that anyone can come read what you've said) when you sign up.

It's possible to make your profile “private” by going to your profile, clicking “Edit My Info” then selecting the option that says nobody can see your questions and answers but, unfortunately, your contacts and fans can STILL see your profile that way.

Why can't I delete my Yahoo questions?

If you are too late. All you can do is hope either it or the best answer is reported as a violation even resolved questions can be removed that way, or you could try emailing the YA team.answrs_team@yahoo.com

How do you delete questions on Yahoo Answers?

Original question:How do you delete questions on Yahoo Answers?I want to delete some of my questions on Yahoo Answers because the answers aren't that helpful to me. Everyone keeps telling me to click on the blue pencil icon to delete my questions but they already have a best answer and I want to get rid of the ones that I have. Is there any ways that I can delete my own questions that I have on the site? Thanks. You cannot delete questions once you have an answer (or a best answer), just like on Quora. However, if no one has replied to your question yet, you can still delete it. The steps are as follows:Step 1: Go to your question. If you are at the home page, click on your name on the left (not the profile picture in the top right-hand corner) and click on ‘My Questions’.Step 2: Click the ‘Edit’ button and press ‘Delete question’. It is found over here:Hope this helps! :)

How can I delete answered questions on ask.fm?

Someone asked, “How can I delete answered questions on Ask and Answer - ASKfm??”That’s a question which would best be answered on Ask and Answer - ASKfm. This is obviously not that website. However, I see that there is a way to do so. Go to How do I cancel my ASKfm account? and follow the instructions to delete your account and all of your content with it.Thanks for the hidden compliment that Quora can answer questions even on other Q&A websites!

How do you get rid of resolved questions on Yahoo answers without deleting your account?

From Yahoo Help pages:“You can ONLY delete a question before it receives its first answer.”See: Changes to your question or answer“If the question doesn't have an answer yet, the asker can delete it. Yahoo reserves the right to remove content that we determine to be inappropriate and/or in violation of the Yahoo Answers Community Guidelines or Terms.”See: Reasons for deleted questions, answers, or commentsSo I guess you could report your question as being in violation of the terms. I’m not sure if the moderation process will simply accept that. See: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/answer...

How do I remove a stuck needle from my sewing machine?

The two problems are probably not related. Most likely. Anyway, to get the needle out, you might want to use a little oil, just a little. Be sure the machine is unplugged, just to be safest. If you don't have regular sewing machine oil or all-purpose household oil -- like you'd use on a door hinge or a bike chain -- you can use WD40 or something like it. Give just a little squirt on the part where the needle is stuck. Let it set for a few minutes. Then use your pliers again. You may as well dust out and oil the rest of the machine (read the owner's manual to see where the oil goes, if you don't know) while you're waiting.

As to the straight stitch only problem, if the oil doesn't help, contact a repair shop. If your machine has a sequence you need to follow to change from straight to other stitches, be sure you are correctly following this sequence. (I had one once that needed dial A set to 3 before dial B could be set to select a new stitch. Friends who borrowed it regularly told me it wouldn't change stitches because they hadn't listened well enough to remember it when I told them how to do it.)

Is there a faster way to remove elastic stitching?

Please, does anyone know a quicker or easier way?!
I would be greatly appreciative of any tips!
I have one of those old (80s era?) shirts with that horrible elastic band at the bottom seam that cinches up around your waste. Awful! But this one, instead of a white pre-fab band just sewn onto it, has six rows of stitches in gold elastic string to make it stretchy. Goes through all the layers and is very hard to remove because when you pull on it with a remover it knots up. I really want to wear it, I LOVE everything else about it, but jeez it's going to take me forever to go through all those rows! Thanks for any (serious) suggestions; I will be checking back to see if anyone is confused and needs more information about this question so they can help me!
